Last year, after my morning glories bloomed, I picked about 100 green immature seed pods, went and bought 1 pint of Jose Cuervo Gold, and added the green pods, and created a tincture. This turned out to be the best way so far. After a few months of soaking, just one cap full created an experience. Seems like the visual aspect is obtained without much nausea.

I used heavenly blue seeds. I bought some from a store, about 3 or 4 years ago, grew them that year, then grew the seeds that they made, and did the same each year, until last year, when I made the tintcure. now I'm waiting to see if they've seeded the garden for this year.

You know, I was listening to a Terence McKenna workshop, on YouTube, that he gave at Esalen. He mentioned that in Meso America, some of the people at least, who work with Morning Glories, do a water infusion, then discard the liquid fraction, and bake the solid portion in the sun to create some sort of ritx cracker like medicine, which they then eat. I don't know if the above is correct, but if the above is correct, then perhaps we shouldn't worry about heat destroying our Lsa.
