Here's another meomory:

After getting ready to attend a festival that some friends had alerted me to, I stopped by my particular friends to supply up. I picked up half a gram of quality LSD on blotters and they threw in about an ounce of synthetic mescaline and a bag full of 00 gel caps.

And off to the Sky River Rock Festival ( http://www.historylink.o...put.cfm&File_Id=5425 ) I went, expecting to sell a lot of acid at a buck a hit and do a lot of trading. The fesitval was incredible.

But this story is about the synthetic mescaline. I was not very familiar with it, being a big-time acid-head, but I decided I should at least do something with it. So I sat one morning in the midst of the festival camping area in my tent with the door flap open with a piece of cardboard, the mescaline, and proceeded to start capping it up. Well, I was pretty fried from the night before of all night rocking and rolling to some great music, so I was using what neurons I had firing to focus on the task at hand. When suddenly, out of nowhere from my perspective, a frisbee came flying in through the door of the tent, smashing into my pile of mescaline and capsules, sending the entire stash flipping out of the doorway of the tent and into the dirt.

I can say that at that point in my life I had never been quite so shocked. It was just stunning. The two frisbee players came running up and were, "What was that?? It looked like a snow explosion!!"

I told them it was about $300 or $400 worth of fine psychedelic drugs and you have never seen two hippies go into high-speed apologetic mode like these guys and offered to pay for a goodly part. They gave me a couple hundred bucks.

So, that was my first experience with synthetic mescaline. More surprising and a little shocking than anger producing. I went on to have a wonderful time at the remainder of the show, which was one of the wildest scenes I have ever been to.
