Yes, my understanding of the law is that you are not owed retribution if you need to defend yourself against charges which you are found innocent on. That being said, if you were charged for something as unlikely, and hard to define or prove, as this, then I would spend minimal money on defense. I would actually defend myself. And then you could counter sue them for.... I don't know what the actual legal name is... once it is over. You would be suing the prosecutor/DA's office/ police dept.
This is very unlikely though if you have any amount of sense in your life, who you choose to associate with etc.
