I wanted to clean some mescaline hydrochloride using this tek to get some (hopefully) clean mescaline sulfate. It didn't go so well cause from 6.386g of HCl i got only 3.353g of sulfate :


Witch is quite disappointing despite few spills here and there. Of course i didn't throw anything and tried to get more from the basic polar mix and the toluen i used but nothing, only few mg. The last thing was the leftover salting mix. I evaped the acetone (bain-marie style) and left the rest in the fridge. At begining (first days) i saw the usual needles forming and I forgot about it. After more than one week i checked again and i found this :



Not weighted yet but in total few hundred mg

So that was from mescaline freebase pulled into acetone and salted with sulfuric?

What base did you use on the HCl salt?

Fun crystals, they look almost like sugar

I used dg's tek.

To base, it was with sodium hydroxide.
