So after doing a re-x with some heptane, I was left with beautiful white crystals. However... I noticed that a tiny part of the blue wool gloves I was wearing (a teeny bit of wool) was hovering above one of the crystals. The rest look absolutely white... So silly of me, I had run out of disposable gloves this morning so I had to take a chance. Is all my product ruined? I suppose it was in the freezer during the precipitation for 10 hours. This sounds so embarrassing but I would like to think there is a chance I can just remove the minuscule patch where the wool is and then scrape the rest out.
