I want to share with you what is happening in our small Bulgaria.

For several years we have been struggling to legalize Cannabis / Ganja/ Коноп / Гръсти. We make informational seminars, protests, subscriptions, graffiti, conversations with politicians, administration, police, forums, newscasts,talking to our relatives and friends, informing them about the positive and healing effects of the plant and more.

Mafia holds the illigal ganja business to be illegal to have a high price. Let's take an example of how 1 gram mafian cannabis on the streets in Bulgaria with poor quality is worth more than 1 gram of the most expensive organic grass in the most luxurious coffeshop in Amsterdam. Before few years I and my wife was on a one-week excursion in Amsterdam and you were shocked... not by quality of ganja but by what is happening in the Netherlands. We spent an unforgettable week in which we traveled and visit coffeshops, museums, restaurants and parks. ( our mission was to visit as many as possible museums, coffeeshops and places in Amsterdam)

Here the mafia and politicians are directly involved in the cultivation and distribution of Ganja. (but not only this... )

There were banal arrests of people with 0.1 grams cannabis and a conviction for possession. The ganja in Bulgaria is in List 1 of drugs. In fact the police being taken the strongest fight with the ganja,because the police make report activity and write acts, while the mafia cleans the market for the way for heroin, methanophetamine and synthetic drugs.
Synthetic drugs in Bulgaria are legal. Even sell synthetic drugs in shops next to schools.
Children under the age of 14 are the most victims of artificial (synthetic) drugs. (The Chinese and Bulgarian Mafia work together and not only ...) But synthetic drugs are legal here...

Bulgaria once been leaders in the cultivation of industrial hemp. In fact, there is historical evidence that many ancient peoples on the Bulgarian lands have used cannabis as a medicine as a painkiller, as well as fabrication and food.

One of my hobbies is to collect books and read. I have books with unique historical data about peoples growing, recognizing (wild and domestic) and using hemp plant on the Bulgarian lands. The plant is entwined in our songs, in our poem, in our jokes and in our rituals. Even old people have jokes people who did not grow cannabis...
I am not talking about the Communist period, I am talking about from the pre-Christian age to the present day cannabis was grown here. In fact, more years have been grown than they years when it was banned.


The irony is that here are extremely heavy licenses for industrial hemp are currently being issued and you can not use it if you grow it. This means you have to transport the hemp to any neighboring country (Romania, Greece, Serbia or Turkey) and process it there (no matter for ropes, paper, concrete, oil, cosmetics or medicines), the Industrial Hemp Act is so absurd as gov. say "Not to grow hemp in Bulgaria". They allowed to grow Industrial Hemp (under 0.2% thc < ) but not allowed to use it for anything !


There was a case of people punishing pedestrians on a walkway and killing them, and then driver is free with a conditional sentence and a funny fine. While a man with 1 gram of ganja to condemn it for 1 year and a higher fine. (stupid laws)

Police prefer to pursue Cannabis growers (those who do not even sell) to report activity instead of pursuing real criminals.

The previous week Just)ice Minister the alcoholic T. Tsacheva resigned because she caught her in an apartment building scheme. (revealed by a free Europe) In fact, several ministers, including the head of anti-mafia (the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Forfeiture of Unlawfully Acquired Property) including the second person in the Bulgarian policy (the right hand of the prime(R) minister of... the gray cardinal), were caught with illegally acquired apartments. In fact, they bought the apartaments 5th cheaper, and on the other hand they have simplified several million debts of the building company and have changed a gov. law to favors the builder and gives it easy licenses and allowed them to build in green places .
This is a small crime against the backdrop of the bank (stolen a few billion euro), a lot of money for EU infrastructure projects) and many others.
These people now resign, but there will be no cases against them. ahahaha

The most fun thing is that the biggest thief (gray cardinal) resigned and returned to parliament after 2 weeks. (insomnia)

But I see positive that things are getting better. People are waking up and politicians SHIrTs come out. There is a positive change for Bulgaria. Bulgaria is blooming like a flower rose.


Let's go back to the Ganja / Cannabis / Grysti / Гръсти / Коноп / Hemp.


But there is a change. First, the European Union has come up with a single solution for the legalization and decriminalization of cannabis in Еurope.
Second Bulgarian Pharmacology conducted a study of two Bulgarian medical universities (hospitals) about the beneficial properties of cannabis in the fight against oncology diseases.

The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) "discovered a breakthrough" that hemp treated a number of diseases. (how do I laugh at it because the people of the world know it for years) BUT now the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will take 5 million leva (EUR 2.5 million) to do a 4 years study and then after 15 years will launch the first product on the market. (no matter how ridiculous it sounds it is the truth) The truth is that they will assimilate and steal some money in for several years for research that has already been done and the results of it are known and public free.
But that's the light in the tunnel that things start to change. I believe that his legalization for medical purposes will come much earlier (not after 20 years), but after 1 year.

Every year in Bulgaria we have a walk for"Freedom for Hemp" .
Because the ban destroys lives, deprives people of their right to heal, causes cancer patients(and not only cancer) to die/suffer or become criminals is the dilemma. The ban destroys the lives of many good people. Instead gov. of losing citizens. Losses and young people who, instead of being in prison and in the weight of society, may be in the prosperity of society, leaving them to develop into one of the fastest growing industries.(hemp industries)


On the fourth month on the twentieth day (20.04), exactly at four and twenty (16:20), we will all smoke the most important joint in our lives together!

We will gather proud, brave, cheerful and exactly at 4:20 we will make the biggest smoke in a place that Bulgaria has seen!

In 2019, 20th of April falls Saturday. Perfect occasion to gather people from across the country and show that we want change.

Ganja should not be a crime in Bulgaria!
Whole Bulgaria smokes grass!
Deputies' children smoke a lot of grass!

On this day we will really show them how much we are!

Our request is one and it is very simple: Decriminalization of owning and growing small quantities of grass for personal purposes! FREEDOM FOR CANANBIS!

And we will achieve it with protest! All! Together! United!

They can singly bully us, they can blackmail us for money, they can arrest us. Everything can do with us ... and it's just worse ...
When we are united, no one can harass us, no one will blackmail us and will not dare to arrest us!

The first important task is to INFORM PEOPLE. MANY PEOPLE!

As the protest approaches, let's say some basic things:

1) There will be a protest! In any case there will be. If there will be hurricane winds, natural disasters and NATO forces to invade the crowd, there will still be a protest!

2) This time there will be no speeches, talks, walks, podium, firefighters, singers, entertainment. There is no leader, organizer, boss. There are only people who are tired of the present terror. You will probably agree that our problem is not too much fun. At 420 we will smoke in the name of something much more important - FREEDOM ✊✊✊

3) The program is simple - we gather all at 4 pm infront Square National Assembly. No sooner, not later. Let's play it "Legalize It" and start smoking at 4:20! Not at 4:10, not at 4:25, but at 4:20 - all together, as one. Pofim (pufff/ smoking), we sing a little, and we we disappear at 4:45.

4) You have not take more than one small slim joint! If someone is captured with this quantity, especially in Sofia, he will probably only get rid of a fine. This is how you tie your pants so that even the worst - to be arrested, is not going to be a particular drama.

5) You will not be arrested! There is no point in worrying about it. The Ministry of the Interior Works does not want such a kind of confrontation with us in front of the cameras. As last year, no one was arrested on 20.04, so we expect to be calm.

6) To avoid problems - you come to the monument of King Osvoboditel (horse) and stand with the rest of the crowd. No one will dare to enter the crowd for a cigarette!

7) If you still have fear to bring one slim join, take part by shrinking tobacco, savory, mint or whatever you want and burn it at 4:20

We will try to ensure that lawyers are also present if anything happens, but nothing will happen. Relax ...

9) Our only demand is that no more people fall in prisons and arrests for Cannabis ... or, in a one word, decriminalization! Simple and clear.
