Just a little curious about what most folk's Closed eye visuals are like when they have enough mescaline to view them?

I've been pondering about it a fair bit recently because I find them very strange. More so than oral DMT CEV's. The thing is with mescaline I always feel so invincibly cheerful even at quite large doses in a way that towers over the joy I get from any other substance.

Ususally I'd expect the visuals to mirror the way I'm feeling, but with mescaline all I ever seem to see is loads of Orcs being sick... constantly Smile

I just look at them with a little smile on my face, sometimes even laughing a bit, but if I had similar visions on ayahuasca I imagine I'd probably shit myself. There are some beautiful colours and patterns that are just breath taking, but the only things I recognise as actual life forms are these large toothed orcy/goblin like beings who keep unloading their lunch right there before me. I don't even feel nauseous on mescaline in the slightest so I have no idea where all this is coming from. Every time I have used mescaline it has been the same.

Very rarely I may see a female entity, but she'd have a stone dead eye look about her, whereas with oral DMT I'd say about 95% of the entities I meet are feamle.

I always use datura s. seeds with my mescaline, so the next time I'm going try without and see if these orcs disappear Smile

My friend. I don't know what to say. Cookie-tossing orcs.

For me, especially with San Pedro for some reason the colors fall into layers, as if everything has a color-stepped aura around it. INSANE geometry forming the most intricate and detailed images changing so fast that if I could just freeze ONE and PAINT it, I would be considered the next Pablo(Cubist period, of course)Picasso.

I can imagine the things I want at lower doses but the higher I go the less control I have over them.

Here is a tip I use often with great success. Before your come up, get on the net and look at art. Classical stuff, surreal stuff, whatever you like. Spend some time with it and get absorbed. I term this exercise 'pre-loading' because it most definitely affects the CEV's. Echo's of the styles of art I've just 'loaded' with mescaline's twist really make for nice CEV's.

I really hope this helps.

Good luck and

Namaste,

J

SWIM nearly always has visions of ancient shaman warriors, ancient temples, and other such things while on mescaline. It’s fairly consistent, unlike DMT where the visions are different almost every single time, anything from alien spacecraft to a billion insects eating the sun, pretty much any bazaar thing is possible with DMT and it doesn’t need to make any sense. With mescaline, the visions always make sense, or they are just pretty patterns, but never anything as freaky as a DMT vision.

I have only mild CEV's with mescaline, though I have only tried SP so far. Sort of like what jasons741 said about color-stepped auras around an afterimage of whatever I was looking at before I closed my eyes... I've also had the sensation that I can still "see", even though my eyes are closed (not sure if that counts).

I'd describe the imagery I get from San Pedro to be more like mental imagery, rather than visual. A recurring "mental image" I get involves a female entity in the center, connecting to many other entities/objects around her periphery (sort of like the Nexus logo at the top of the forums).

According to wikipedia, mescaline is supposed to produce brilliant visuals when you place a strobe light in front of your closed eyes. I have not had any luck experiencing this though with SP and a program that turns my monitor into a low-quality strobe light.

Yeah that's kind of close to what I experience. But these warriors definately aren't human, at least as we appear today. They all seem to be exibiting some wild war cry with razor sharp teeth. I see one come zooming into the left of my vision, then as he fades away another comes in to the right with a similar expression.

For SWIM, seeing aliens is almost exclusive to DMT visions. Nothing else really does that for SWIM.

On weak doses, mescaline visuals are just sort of mental images, similar to those from the harmala alkaloids. At high doses, the visions become very intense and colorful.

I think not many people have experience a high dose of mescaline. It’s an earth shattering experience. I keep hearing people talk about how mellow mescaline is. It’s only mellow in small doses. A lot of what you read about in the older work on mescaline which makes it sound so incredibly visual involved pure synthetic mescaline sulfate, not a visually inferior cactus extract, and often very large doses were used, probably much larger than what most people these days are using.

Yeah I have that harmala effect on the tail end of the experience for sure when I see a lot of different people's faces.

I still haven't got to an intense state with mescaline but I'm slowly working my way up to a gram. So far the largest dose has been 600mg's which gave some slight reality re-writing like things dissapearing and being drawn back again.

It's just about finding the time

Yeah, finding the time can be hard. A full blown mescaline trip is going to take the whole day. You need to be completely free of all responsibility for 1 whole day. Having a whole day like that free of responsibility is something that is very rare for SWIM these days. Maybe one day a year he has such free time.

I like to have at least a week free if taking a long acting hallucinogen.
If i think of anything I need to do that week, it ruins the trip by worrying too much.
69ron, sounds like you need some more you time. Go camping or something man, take a few of the other lab people with you.
