Big grin

For some reason old age I guess I was thinking of the 70's and the Mcdonalds coffee spoon. An always available indispensable measuring and dispensing tool. Everything was in mcspoons. "That coke is kick ass a couple of mickyd spoons got me soaring." For any powder, it was great for reaching into those little glass vials or measuring out a dose. Of course our good friends in the Government got involved. Leading to the redesign of the spoon in 1979. There is still a thriving trade on Ebay for the old spoons.

If anyone wants to read about it link here.

I too came of age in the 70s. Remember this lame gesture like it was a year ago. Emblematic of the, virtue signaling/approved narrative/soundbite, tactic used so powerfully by our "social constructionist" engineers in the media and politics.

Whatever era, no matter which brand of marionette holds sway, the same emotion heavy, substance light, foreign and domestic jingoism is massaged to inflame the baser nature of the "constituency", left or right. Rather depressing, but as standard as it comes. The key is to recognize that in the "memebite" sense, "culture is not your friend", ala T McKenna.

I suspect A7519, like you, because of age, the era of our growing up seems nostalgic, poignant and very present in the memory library. Thanks for the reminder.

Peace
