So I had an idea a while ago during my last extraction - to clean the evaporation dishes with IPA, save it, and then later use it as the 'solvent' for making changa/enhanced leaf.

Anyway, the numbers weren't extravagant, but still noticeable. I only managed to get about .85g of goo/small clusters of crystals from my extractions (using acrb and q21's tek). I mixed it with 1g of various dried herbs and ended up with 2.08g of enhanced leaf. Meaning the IPA absorbed about .2g of excess DMT from all of my pulls.

So I guess the amount would depend on how diligent you are during the scraping step.

Has anyone tried this/something similar? Is there a way to improve this method?

Also, a bit unrelated, but I saved another jar of IPA and stuck it in the freezer. The result was clumps of crystal on the edges of the mason jar after a few days. Is that similar to how re-X's are done?

i don't know but, instead of scraping i prefer to dissolve in a solvent and transfer it...so, you have the evaporated goo, put in a minimal quantity of solvent, and drops all on the leaf, like umidify the leaf with solvent/spice.
