It's supposed to be between 10pm and 3am here in the NE part of the sky. Apparently there's supposed to be between 80-90 per hour.

And it's clear too! Pumped.

Its been pretty good so far...We saw a few really big ones light up the sky

Well, the turnout was incredible! Super clear skies here lastnight. I sat outside for almost 3 hours.

It's almost a new moon at the moment as well so was perfect timing, unfortunately it's been cloud and rain over here so didn't catch any meteors.

Ya, weeks of sun, but looks like a good front moving in. Haven't seen the weather, hope it clears by tonight.

I'll never forget the time i went camping in north Georgia, not knowing the Perseids were that night and being blown away by the sparks shooting across the sky in all directions.

Don't forget to bring a heat insulating mat, if you choose to lie down in the countryside. Even though the day might be blazing hot, the ground at night is pretty cold. Lesson I learned yesterday.
