This is a great little project seeking to conserve increasingly threatened Bufo alvarius toads whose populations are being depleted through environmental changes and degradation and overharvesting.

"Due to climate changes and poaching these amazing creatures find themselves in threat. As a result the Bufo Alvarius Foundation has begun construction of a ranch in the toads natural environment in the Sonoran Desert. It is our plan to breed these amazing creatures to restore there numbers."

The Foundation have had past success with fundraising and in this instance are seeking $5,000 to buy a bit of land in the Sonoran Desert.

I have funded this project and would encourage other Nexians to check this and consider doing so, $5,000 is not really a lot of money if a few peeps chip in a little.
