I love you people. I just smoked some changa.
First I smoked ganja, white sage, and amanita muscaria mushrooms in a bong, as I do everyday about 3 times per day. It's the best herbal smoking blend for all-the-time use, for me anyway.
Then I smoked two bowls of ayahuasca leaf in the bong. I felt it immediately. Then I drank lots of water, having worked hard and fasted. Then I smoked changa (ayahuasca leaf mixed with acacia confusa bark extract). I packed the bong with changa with a thin layer of amanita muscaria mushroom powder on top. I took four big hits.
I put the bong down and held a leaf of white sage in one hand and lit it. I held it as it burned and gave me its delicious smoke, as the effect of the changa came on. It was amazing. The smoke looked and smelled so amazing. It flowed up over my hand and face as I sat watching it. I sang a song about ayahuacsa and closed my eyes. I felt my love being replenished by the amazing force of nature, the force of changa. I love changa. Changa loves me. The sage smoke loves me. Everything loves me. Love is everywhere, love is all there is. Love coming from everything. Amazing love! Personal healing. Ayahuasca lives, we live. We are life, we are love. I smoked opium three times at one week intervals recently, only to find out that opium pretty much sucks. I don't plan on smoking opium ever again because it just sucks. Opium is all sedation and only a little euphoric. Changa is very euphoric and healing and amazing. There is no place for opium in my life, as it offers no benefit beyond what my preferred herbs can do. I can smoke changa every three days now to continue my healing. I worked my way up to four hits which is a strong enough dose. Very satisfying, but not overwhelming.
I have tried peganum harmala (syrian rue) before. It is very harmful. It is not an acceptable substitute for ayahuasca. That would be like using the devil as a substitute for God. Ayahuasca (cielo) leaves are just perfect. Passion flower is good too.

Changa is amazing. It's a perfect thing to smoke!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Rue & Caapi Harmala are both special, I could make arguments for both .
Good luck Cool

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

May I ask why you say Peganum Harmala is harmful and unacceptable? Perhaps you've had some bad experiences with Rue?

I have found it to be an amazing substitute for the Great Vine. It works wonders in Changa and in brews for me and many others. Anyway, I was just curious...

Peace be with you

You are pushing "your opinion", based on trying, as facts, a devil's trick Razz

I do agree that it is not a substitute for ayahuasca vine, but not for your kind of reasoning (to me it outclasses vine but that is because of affiliation)

* One better not compare to start with, two too different realms, apples - oranges;
* "Trying" isn't enough to make good analysis, building a relationship is better. If you had only seen dark with rue before, the best thing to come you've likely abandoned premature, and that's your doing, not rue's;
* a suggestion: the mirror that rue presents might have been of such great quality (one that vine failed to offer) that perhaps for the first time you had a good glimpse of yourself, and what you experienced was not pretty nice. The fate of many messengers have been that they were confused with the message they bring, lots of mirrors have been broken for this effect.
