Recently I used DMT for the first time after having drank Ayahuasca, which occurred a little less than a year prior to this DMT experience.
It was very late at night, after I'd been out dancing. Prior to consuming the DMT I meditated for about 20 minutes, lit some incense and put on put on some headphones to listen to Tibetan shaman music w/ theta binaural beats.
I set an intention of continuing off where I was during my last ayahuasca session, which involved an encounter w/ a spirit that reminded me sort of a preying mantis, pretty vaguely though. In the ayahuasca encounter the spirit seemed to be hovering above Earth and reached down to give me what I interpreted as an acupuncture session.
I took one big hit of DMT and gradually my vision was overtaken by fractals, similar to an Ales Grey painting. It seemed that there were spirits/entities opening up/unfolding these fractals as a presentation of something, perhaps how worlds are created? Than I realized this was a scene I witnessed during my last ayahuasca session, but had forgotten.
As the fractals intensified, I had a very vivid body sensation of energy pulses in very specific parts of my body...the upper arms, chest and solar plexus. The point at the solar plexus was especially vivid and had a regular pulsing pattern. I again interpreted this as a kind of acupuncture, possibly of the heart chakra, which I think is a bit constricted on myself (maybe I was just having heat palpitations?
)
This lasted for about 2 minutes I think, then the trip gradually subsided. I felt good afterwords, somewhat cleared and a little lighter. That was about it...
I thought it was interesting that the DMT was able to continue where I'd left my last ayahuasca trip, which I'd set as an intention. I'm also intrigued that I've received this kind of acupuncture session twice now (I also receive acupuncture in "real" life).
I'm curious, have you experienced anything similar?
