REPORT

After recently starting to experiment with changa blends and very soft brews I had been gifted some Chaliponga leaf for christmas the past year.Having done a lot of reading on DMT containing plants I already had an idea of what chali might be in theory... in theory Very happy.

Because the leaf amount was low my friend suggested it would be better to brew it than try and extract it knowing that the alkaloid content would also be on the low side (0.3% as per the wiki). But being an ambitious psychonaut that I am and avid to gain experience with extracting from various plant sources I figured that maybe it will be a good idea to save half of the leaf for brews and use the other half to make a small batch of changa, knowing that possible outcome exist from reading previous posts done by more experienced members on the Nexus, and of course aiming for the 5 meo content of chali myth speculated on and of on the interwebz.

I familiarised myself with Jamies ISO tek designed for leaf sources, also had a look at the ongoing analysis posted by endlessness at that time for various batches of chali collected from different habitats... in conclusion the tests end has done showed no amount of 5meo in any chaliponga batch he analysed but here goes my story..

I completed the ISO tek for chaliponga leaf sources and from 25g of starting material I ended up with around 1% of oily xtals that I've cleaned up once and infused them back on chali in a 1:1 ratio. Smoalking this blend had very mild effects, mild visual distortion, very similar to a low dose mimosa extract, but longer than expected.Being somewhat unsatisfied by the effects I figured that maybe it could be a good idea to use this base in combination with the same ratio of mimosa extract infused onto chali leaf and add on top some freebase harmalas extracted from syrian rue.Said and done.

The following weekend as the blend was ready I could not help myself and no touch it. That evening I ate a light veggie meal followed by some tea later and finally one cup of brew of about 25g caapi vine worth.

As I settled in our bedroom, already 2hrs passed after I've had the caapi brew, I encouraged myself to try this blend.Being dark and far away from the mg scale I arrogantly measured 2 pinches out of the changa stash and carefully dropped them in my pipe...all looking/feeling good.. or at least so i thought.

I took 2 final deep breaths to balance my hear rate and started vaping.

Toke number one had a nice cosy feeling to it, held it in for quite a long time and by the time I exhaled the effects were already installing proper. The light in the room even though it was dim got brighter and increasing, the room space got bigger and the air cleared out nicely.

The second toke intensified the chaliponga extract taste, also started to feel more sensitivity towards the sinus stimuli, at this point the smell was strong and judging by that, while holding it in, I knew I've gotten the mother load in there. At this point I was so relaxed I did not even feel the need to exhale anymore.I kept the vapour in me for what felt like an eternity.Slowly exhaling, the open eye visuals start to intensify and I feel my energy working its way up on my spine with great warmth, and locking me inside an arm like device that was helping me relax in the most amazing way.The tricky part comes next as I kept saying to myself I should take the third toke.During the coming effects of the second my instincts showed my I should leave the pipe down but my inner self wanted to know what would happen if I took the third toke.

Being very confused as to what or what not to do I did take another toke which also finished up the herbs in the pipe, small one actually but very consistent.Left the pipe down and remained locked in the device for the next 15 or so minutes.During this time the experience was unfolding deeper and deeper, I was barely breathing but I did not need much air.My body was functioning on minimal resources, the less air intake the more deeper the experience went. Coming out of the cielling I was following a sort of machine that was projected on many dimensions in the room space having it's outer parts built of plasma and light like matter that also had patterns and code configurations inbedded in itself.

At this point I was still feeling heat coming up my spine up to my crown chakra. After the heat reached the maximum height point of my body it transformed from very hot/warm to what felt like 0 degrees absolute cold and got wrapped around me head to toes in a capsule manner. This cold temperature is what made me feel a bit out of control and made me start opposing the experience.I got scared of the intensity and instantly tried to vocalise some words to my lady in the hope that she'll feel my struggle and slowly try to help me ride it out.

In a matter of minutes we managed to tie a couple of words together and express her my state of mind, she had me focused on the right feelings and finally managed to end it.

Looking at the time now more than 25 minutes passed. Reflecting about what just happened I did feel a little remorse for trying to force end the experience, no regrets but I am sure if I had been more prepared body and mind and took it to the top and let it back to baseline on its own I would have come out with even more strength and experience worth wealth than I actually did.

Judging by the fact that it was my first experience with such a combo of extracts in a changa blend I'd say it was by far through my best experiences and it was well worth the ride as well as insights. The experience brought forth the wisdom of trust and courage but was more like a therapy for me than any other type of teaching.

In some way that was exactly what I needed/subconsciously asked for.It felt that if at times entheogens help me bridge my consciousness to a realm where I get in contact with higher forms of intelligence and gain wisdom jewels that I'm fascinated about interpreting, sometimes I can connect to that bridge in a more physical aspect for the benefits of my body and minds health. It did felt more as a substance to user interaction.

Now being aware of the fact that chaliponga alkaloid content holds no 5 meo, I can't help it but speculate that I've witnessed something more from this blend as any other, and will give equal credit parts to every ingredient in it, all being key though chali had her own touch and it made itself felt every moment.

For the ones curious enough to try this I would advise a careful small steps approach, great respect for these plant teachers as they well deserve it, and of course providing the oh so much important set and setting aspect.

Thanks so much for reading Love
