I found a paper (which I posted over in the Magic Mushrooms subforum), suggesting that chronic, subthreshold exposure to psilocin results in cardiotoxicity in rats. That sent me down quite a rabbit hole, looking for everything I could find on psychedelics and heart problems, which leads me to the 5-HT2B receptor:
I found a ton of papers suggesting that 5-HT2B agonists increase the risk of heart disease, especially myocardial fibrosis, and a list of binding affinities for psilocybin that say it does have a very high affinity for the 5-HT2B (

I can't find anything about whether it acts as an agonist, antagonist or what, but given it's form, my guess is that it would be an agonist. I've been microdosing it, so I'm a little concerned.
And what about DMT, LSD and all the other classical psychedelics? I know there are people who smoke N,N pretty frequently, has anyone here noticed heart problems (angina, ischemia, etc?)
