I see this topic appear a lot throughout the chat and the forum itself.
This thread is to address the main concerns of tap water and its common added chemicals as well as naturally occurring compounds related to tap water or simply using for extraction purposes, or simply curiosity. To really find out what's in your water, look into your online, local water treatment facility and view the PDF's which outline levels and also exposure levels within your locality. Note how low each compound is in terms of measurement and would likely fail to change psychoactive principals such as entheogenic compounds. Below is just one example within my regulated locality.
For starters, here are naturally occurring common elements in various common measurements. Some of which are crucial for bodily functions. Usually most facilities have common regulations in regards to measuring added compounds which will be posted. All facilities will vary in accordance to levels. Some more, some less.

Naturally occurring fluoride is also found in many commonly naturally occurring foods and drinks such as black tea, raisins, wine, potatoes, lamb, carrots and a wide variety of other fruits.
The rest are mostly inorganic compounds. Many of which are very hazardous at much higher levels and also show consistent expression on various inhibition pathways within the brain and body. These compounds will vary from place to place. Many of these compounds are very questionable and do raise concerns on the environment and human health.

Vinyl Chloride?
Well, there you have it. Plenty of inorganics and organic compounds found in typical tap water. This was resourced from my current area in the city. Any compound you wish to explore or wish to know more about, simply leave a reply or posting, and it will be addressed. Also post what you have found on which addressed compounds.
I've found that many of these compounds inhibit particular cholinesterase pathways within the mammalian brain, resulting in interference with certain brain activities, which prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine in the synapses. Thus, increasing the firing rate.
To reduce impurities, there are many things you can do such as getting the distilled water or utilizing a filtration system or other filtering options such as Lifestraw.
'What's going to happen?' 'Something wonderful.'
Skip the manual, now, where's the master switch?
