Although it's impressive, this prinziple isn't new at all. People can do the same thing with lasers and i.e. the surface of a window for ages....

Everything is always okay in the end, if it's not, then it's not the end.

That's pretty cool, I never knew that was possible. I kind of suspected this might be an extension of pre-existing technology but I thought it was neat.
