SWIM's been reading on the different MAOI used for changa (SWIM's preparing his first blend)

Which ones gives the cleanest, clearest and most insightful journey?

A. Cielo Caapi Vine, total plant alkaloid extract in freebase form
(this looks like a yellowish powder)

B. Harmala HCl Alkaloids (Full Spectrum) from Syrian Rue / Peganum Harmala extract
(this looks like yellowish crystals)

C. Harmala Freebase Alkaloids (Full Spectrum) Syrian Rue
(this looks like a white powder)

D. 10x full spectrum Harmala extract
(this looks like dark red stones)

E. Harmine HCL 95% from Syrian Rue

F. Hamaline HCL 95% from Syrian Rue

What's your ideal MAOI for changa?
Am I missing any other MAOIs

I've only worked with FB Harmala - full spectrum(from rue) - when making Changa, so my response is biased.

Since I can only base my response on option C, then that will be the one that I choose!

Caapi freebase is a lovely additive. Rue also, but lacks the warmth I get with caapi. But YMMV.

I enjoy freebase caapi extract, but I personally prefer doing an alcohol extraction, usually about 15g vine deposited onto 1g of caapi leaf.

It could just be placebo but my body does not like harmalas from Rue. I've never made changa with rue extract although I have used it for pharma.

In any case, don't smoke the HCl salt. For changa use freebase.

my newest and prefered method is making a "20x" cappi vine blend. I take 20 grams of black caapi and soak it in 99%IPA( black because it is reportedly the most powerful, and proves its self to be among other batches.)I do this on a full moon if possible and let it sit, shaking around every other day, until the next full moon. I actally did two moon cycles just because my timing was off and i missed the first . strain out the dark maoi soaked IPA and just evap onto one gram of the same black vine and there you have a theoretical 20x caapi blend. I really enjoy using this method now because it really seems to enhance the spiritual and healing properties from mother ayahuasca. I like my changa to be vine heavy because I believe it give a very good balance of the "power" and "light".
