So I want to do this combination, lsd, and mimosa and rue. Now, I'm not reccomending anyone combine lsd with syrian rue because it could be dangerous but that's not the point of this post.

If and when I do take this trip, I don't want to do it by taking the mimosa tea, rue and lsd all at the same time because the lsd lasts much longer than mimosa tea.

What I want is to take the mimosa tea halfway through the LSD trip.

The problem with this is, I also want the syrian rue to effect the LSD. Which would lead me to take the syrian rue first, and the LSD second, and the mimosa third.

But I also don't want to needlessly double dose myself with syrian rue when I take the mimosa tea 4 hours after the acid.

So, my question is, how long after I eat the syrian rue will the harmaline stop the dmt from being metabolized when I drink it? I'd prefer not to take more syrian rue than necessary.

Iirc dosing an maoi at any point of mushroom trip will lengthen/strengthen it. If this is correct can the same be said about lsd?

Someone on chat was saying that using maoi with lsd can be bad because it lengthens the trip ALOT. Turning what would be a 12 trip to 24 hrs or even days.

Yes I have talked to some people about how it can last two days which is exactly why I prefer not to dose rue twice.


But i also heard some things to make me think acid wont intensify properly like mushrooms if i dont take the rue first. I might end up just taking it all at once but more than likely Ill experiment more with rue and lsd first so I can figure out how what works

Oral DMT is best taken together with MAOI (harmala tea) to prevent the DMT from being degraded in the gut. When ingesting raw seeds, it may be best to wait up to half an hour before ingesting the DMT, so that the stomach to extract the seeds. When ingesting a tea or an purified extract of rue, IMHO it is best taken together with the DMT.

Do not underestimate the effects of rue on LSD, it can be overwhelming sometimes. Be sure to have a safe setting. In my experience, the modulation of LSD by rue lasts about four hours, or as long as the MAOI lasts. After that, you're back to LSD proper.

Here is a Erowid experience report on the combination of rue and LSD. This will not happen always with this combination, but high doses of rue combined with high doses of LSD can be unexpectedly intense. With lower doses, apart from a slightly longer duration of the trip, the trip will be organic/emotional/fuzzy and less mental/analytical.

I advise you to carefully experiment with the combination rue + lsd first, before combining with mimosa. Start low on lsd and rue before gradually increasing the dose. Use purified rue extract if you can, to have better control over the dose of MAOI and to prevent unnecessary body load adding to the intensity of the experience.
