Im just curious if any of you brave psychonauts have ever blasted off while watching yourself in front of a mirror, the thought always occurs to me on the come down when i make my way to the restroom, but has anyone ever truly broken through while making eye contact with themselves? I can imagine some would never ever want to with the whole "dont look in the mirror while your tripping" thing. To me those are just the folks that are afraid to see themselves for what they really are. I may give this a try here in the near future and if no ones really ever done it then ill be sure to post

I haven't broken through. Period. But I can tell you this, I went for a look in the mirror during aftereffects of DMT.

It was very strange. I kept looking and my vision would alternate from complete darkness to seeing nothing in the mirror. I think it has to do with the way time slows down and different light intervals reaching the eyes. Anyway, I saw a distinct aura just behind myself. As if someone was standing behind me. It was dark purple. It reminded me almost instantly to a purple presence that I had forgotten about but who was there during the DMT trip just minutes before. It was very interesting.
