hampers the struggle of those recovering from addiction" ignores that many drugs are legal and unstigmatized; often those drugs are more harmful than Cannabis. Whiskey commercials, pill commercials, beer sales, and secondhand tobacco smoke all hamper the struggle of those recovering from addiction, but they are legal and unstigmatized.
