a response to this trip report:
My DMT Trip to the End of the Universe! https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=42407
Please read for context as i will be taking excerpts in order to establish the truth

as some of you may or may not know the quran was revealed 1400 years ago and it is believed to be the true word of god and within it god has giving us many signs which prove this. one of these signs is related to this trip report and that is the existence of another race of beings similar to us but different known in islam as jinns and the existence of seven heavens and nearest heaven which is where Dr. who travelled to in his trip report.

There is a chapter called surah jinn which named after them and talks about them. in the trip report Dr.Who mentions,"Yet - and this was the most horrifying part of it all - it did not seem that I was actually alone!!! It seemed as if mighty presences, unhuman and invisible, were keeping pace with my flight, buoying me along my way, leering at me out of the unseen, using me for some inscrutable purpose. It was this that filled me with such excess fear that i could have screamed".

in the surah jinn they reveal in verse 8-9,"And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames", "And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him". this is proven when Dr.Who mentions in this trip,"For answer there came a faint sound thru the darkness - it was a sound as of sardonic mockery, the mockery of some unseen witness; it was joined from the distance by other sounds, low and resonant of equal mockery... until it seemed to me that I was the target of the laughter of a mysterious host". Those are the beings known as jinns in islam.

further on in his trip Dr.Who relates, "Once more I was startled by an awareness of light. From the faintest remote shimmering, it expanded into a broad luminous slightly curving belt, unlike anything I had ever seen before. As I approached the belt it expanded, until it became a sort of wall, which reached from rim to rim of the Universe, beneath and as far above as I could see, blazing with fires of deep-red, purple, indigo, orange, emerald and many more colours I had never before imagined - Fires so fierce that an ordinary gaze could no have looked upon them, although, surprisingly, they did not affect my eyes". This is in line with what the jinns have mentioned in verse 8-9.

in the quran god mentions in at least 4 different chapters about the nearest heaven and it being protected with fires. in surah saffat he mentions from verse 6-11:"Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars","And as protection against every rebellious devil","[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side","Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment","Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]".

again this in line when Dr.Who mentions in this trip," As I approached the belt it expanded, until it became a sort of wall, which reached from rim to rim of the Universe, beneath and as far above as I could see, blazing with fires of deep-red, purple, indigo, orange, emerald and many more colors I had never before imagined - Fires so fierce that an ordinary gaze could no have looked upon them"

in another surah called AR-Rahman god mentions from verse 33-35:"O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ],"There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves". and in surah Mulk in verse 5:" And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning".

further on in his trip Dr.Who relates the following,"And I fluttered about it moth-like, though the blades of ever-changing colored light were as swords to keep me out. Have I come so far only to be turned back? I thought in despair. Let me pass, let me pass the wall!!! From beyond the barrier, I thought I could hear sounds. There was a weird murmuring, a commotion as of the swishing of great wings; there was the sounds of music, but music like no other I had ever heard, so sweet that it made me want to listen forever.

Remember in surah Ar-Rahman when god mentions you will not pass without authority from him hence why Dr.Who says the ever-changing colored light were as swords to keep me out. and then he says,"There was a weird murmuring, a commotion as of the swishing of great wings" in surah saffat god tells us in verse 8,"[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side","

And finally in the end when Dr.Who says,"And suddenly I reeled and everything about me swan; the wall o light wavered, and then seemed to topple toward me in waves of flame and sparks; and as I felt the absolute terror sweeping over me, and struggled to avoid the fiery inundation". this is in line with exactly how god describes what happens in surah Ar-Rahman,"You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ],"There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves".

I would like to conclude that this not some strange coincidence between this dmt experience and the quran but rather proof of the truth as god says it in surah fussilat,"41.53."Soon We will show them Our manifest signs (proofs) in the horizons of the universe and within their own selves, until it will become manifest to them that it (the Qur'ān) is indeed the truth. Is it not sufficient (as proof) that your Lord is a witness over all things (just as He is witnessed to by all things)"? Chapter (41) sūrat fuṣṣilat

all of you know how real the dmt experience feels even more real than reality sometimes and this view is even shared by Dr.Who when he says at the beginning of his trip,"I Hesitate to tell my DMT experience. People will say it was just a Hallucination, that I had gone completely out of my mind! But to me it all seemed real, amazingly, devastingly real, although so uncanny that it fills me with fresh astonishment every timeI recall it"!,"Let me try and give some idea of my sensations; my own volition played no part whatever; I was merely the witness of scenes unraveled before me, which I had no more share in producing than I had in creating a motion picture I saw on the screen But no motion picture could have been so vividly Real!

Read and read it again and again and join the dots to reach your own conclusions. thank you for giving the time to read all of this.

nope, it proves nothing.

I find it very difficult to believe that any of the bald monkeys can even fathom THE TRUTH let alone write in down.

I think this report just may further confirm the fact that most religions are generally reports of.people.having psychedelic experiences.

Not sure if your aware of the sacred mushroom and the cross which talks of how early Christianity was in fact a mushroom cult, or the fact that many think moses may have been on a DMT alkaloid when talking about the burning bush etc.

Look into it if you have never heard its quite interesting and makes plenty sense.
That moment when you wonder if this time you went too far....

Obviously everything discussed here is the fictional accounts of someone with an out there imagination. I mean really could any of these tales be real?

You make some pretty tenuous and weak connections here by comparing vague hearsay with the quran whilst in hyperspace there are quite explicit references to a variety of religions, many of which historically predate Islam. I'm not trying to imply that those religions included should be accepted de facto either, but I think it's silly to point out a bunch of mild correlations and then conclude that everything else that follows from the quran must be true.

First of all religion, and even the writings are subject to culture. Let's take the example of the ancient egyptians, who I know personally are very much present in hyperspace. Just because the Egyptians are present in hyperspace doesn't mean I can blindly take all of the ancient texts and papyrus scrolls as being true. If we take the "weighing of the heart ceremony" for example which is depicted in the "Book of the Dead", the older version shows the deceased before Osiris with his heart being weighed against a feather - the idea being that if one's heart were as light as a feather (i.e. if one were morally good) then one would be permitted access to the afterlife. In the successive patriarchal era, the hieroglyphs were changed to show the heart being weighed against pharonic idols that were sold by the priesthood to the society - the idea being that you had to buy your way into the afterlife. Now Osiris is an important figure to me because I have encountered another Egyptian deity who is allegedly synonymous with Osiris, but I wouldn't just take everything written about him on blind faith.

When it comes to religions, there are simply too many contradictions to take the whole thing literally. Doesn't mean some of it can't be true, or that some things are figurative, and then there's bound to be some things that are 100% fabricated, but it's virtually impossible to conclude things one way or the other. Even if I had a hyperspace vision of the aforementioned weighing of the heart ceremony, and I were to see that it was indeed the heart weighed against a feather, I still couldn't take that as truth because I cannot be sure of the purpose of the vision being shown to me, nor its origin. So that scene is quite iconic in human history, so perhaps it could simply be a reflection of a large collective consciousness, or perhaps I am in fact witnessing a valid demonstration of a genuine afterlife process, but in either case, it's impossible to really tease apart one from the other or a variety of alternate possibilities, and that's going on direct first hand experience whereas you are making a lot of your claims second hand, cherry picking words that were weakly used to relate what is a predominantly ineffable experience.

I dont believe the quran or other man made religion has any conection to hyperspace..
I believe a person can and should converse with a loving mercyfull almighty in their own way...
Following teachings writen in books of religion ..[by men] has always been full of contradictions and lies and pregedists...

If there is a true god for the human race ..
He would have to be far superior than any man made book could ever explain..

Thousands still cry out from their graves!.. who were wrongfully and brutaly murdered by the barbaric act of stoning by members of a town who follow the qurans teachings..!

When mankind doesnt understand something..the only option is to kill the enemy..because the book says its all right..

Its posibile that there is a book of life ..pre written.. for every human on this earth from birth to death..and no power can change that..

I seen this book once as a 5 year old ..as I dozed off in a chair one sunny morning in my yard..
Being told to sit in this chair one sunny morning by my aunt .. under the tree of life my head droped momentarily to see a vision of a book on my lap.. and it looked new with empty pages..
Then i observed the empty pages flutter magicly from one end to the other ..
This dream or vision I had as a child..would haunt me for years after untill i was about 18 years old then i started to understand its meaning..
Its either that my life has already been pre written or my life was being written by a much higher power...
cheers..

The way the OP words this is inherently ignorant, this carries throughout the whole post, claiming subjective things as truths. Many other religions consider their sacred texts to be the word of God, Judaism believes this and it predates Christianity; which also believes that their Bible is the word of God, the Quran was based on Christian beliefs which were built upon Judaism. How is Islam more valid than these religions?

The reasons for proof is obscure and highly subjective, I myself believe in the Christian God, this is subjective not objective. Since DMT I believe all religions are valid to an extent in that we all end up in the same place after death (I would call this heaven, but the name is irrelevant), it is a spiritual world therefore all gods could plausibly exist. This is strictly my opinion though and I can share it but it is never one which I can prove or claim to be fact.

I realise that my theology is extremely unorthodox but DMT has a way of changing your perspective on things for the better...
“Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them—if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry.” J.D. Salinger.

I couldn't get any further into your post than this - as dogma of all shapes, sizes, creeds and colors tends to give me gas.

EDIT: I just noticed this conversation died off 19 months ago... What was the point of re-engaging?

Do I need to give a reason for commenting? What was the point of your edit; was that necessary?

People bring up various threads for various reasons, I didn't think I needed to give an explanation for doing so but will do so here. I read the thread and it bothered me, I felt I had something valid to add and I like discussing theology. I mean the thing about these threads is they are not restricted to the now like a face to face conversation and can exist beyond that.

Just that the person who made the original post hasn't made another one since, and that was 19 months ago - so it just reads more like grandstanding than an honest attempt to engage in any actual discourse, that's all.

But whateva. It irked me as well, or I wouldn't have commented either - and it's entirely possible that my comment wasn't any more conducive to discourse than yours. But I didn't take it out of mothballs after a year and a half just to go on record with my indignation - you did.

Fair enough Art, I think my post had a valid reason and on that same logic so did yours. I don't think either of us stand on higher ground here. If it helps I did miss read the OP's date (being a Aussie) and thought it was a year old; not sure if that would have changed my post though...

You lost me when you mentioned the quran and true word of god in the same sentence.... I would like to add that the referenced trip report was EPIC!
