So on the night of Friday the 7th of March 2014, (for my own records)

I Partook in my first ceremony, 'Yage' as they call it here in Colombia 'Ayahuasca'

I have had a life of searching; like all i think who find themselves in places.

I have experienced many journeys with my consciousness and the things learnt from outside.

i was not disappointed but....
I know baby steps
Its a whole different Area to Smoked DMT.


I thought because of my experience with smoked DMT, 'of course my mind would just open up to the Yage/Aya first go.
But its like starting again.
Like with Smoked DMT first it was like one complete energy, 'Too great to get a hold on' ~But after smoking DMT many Times (like 27 Journeys in about 8 years) the energy started to take form,
it had feelings
Forces
Shapes
emotion
Consciousness
landscapes and realities, INFORMATION!!!!
I am now thinking that this new area I have visited, This new journey 'The journey of Yage/Aya' is too going to take some more respect to Learn its Customs !

Also I have thought that with smoking DMT you more get 'WHAT YOU NEED/WANT IN THAT SINGLE MOMENT EXACTLY'
BUT with Yage/Aya it seems deeper, you can just 'be with it' and immerse in its wonder its being, like you can match speeds and observe easier, and with practice I believe you can find more 'What your looking for'.
to me it felt Gentler, 'A gentle Giant'


Only thing is i cannot remember too much, well i am not sure i saw too much relevant; IT FELT MORE LIKE A TUTORIAL, Or a TEST RUN, I KNEW IT HAD SO MUCH MORE !

I am pretty sure these days that HYPNOTISM* is an Accepted Phenomenon, so i am wondering if anyone has tried Hypnotism to return to an Ayahuasca or DMT Journey 'to have a better look' or to see if they missed anything' or just to try this?


** I had to nag my girlfriend to sort it out for me, as she is Colombian and obviously speaks perfect Spanish,
Plus we are married now so most things like that need 'Diplomatic agreement' , and im finding out that she really doesn't appreciate the Sciences or the experiences Behind 'Altered consciousness' A minor problem HUH !

normally i prefer to do things all myself, huh that Ego part, 'im not a baby, I WANT TO DO IT ALL MYSELF'

so it happened the curandero 'Taita' had just arrived back to the city from a reunion of curanderos in Putumayo, and said to come tomorrow night.

REALLY i would have liked about a weeks notice, to meditate, eat good, and be ready.

but i had to leave Pronto for my Visa, and i thought if its tomorrow its tomorrow.


PREPERATION
Lots of movies, more like Docos, lots of Lollies the night before, before i knew it was happening.
I usually drift a lot, but have been stuck with my wife's family.
I'm a young married that's why I complain lolol .28 years old.

i did start to drink, and finished about 6 litres of water up until the ceremony.
and did sit in the sun for a couple of hours, trying to meditate, and calm myself, the day of the ceremony.


so we drank the Yage, 'It tasted not nice, like medicine' like old red wine mixed with cactus juice.
aha and we shot it down with a sort of flower essence alcohol thing, quite nice.

so i lay down, and when it came on,
like a warm embrace a complete embrace, 'now i think maybe like a baby feels in its mums stomach.
i felt so relaxed, like sedated.
i was drifting away.
and i remember feeling my stomach, the shape of it perfectly, and then like fingers or maybe like vines seeping outward ever so gently into my body.

i was drifting off so gently and warm and comfortable.
Like the Yage wanted to lift me off and carry me away, it wanted to support me and i believe that my mind was ready, 'from practicing DMT and other Psychedelics ?'
BUT my body could not support the yage!

And then i had to get up and Vomit,
i returned to my spot to relax, but now the sensations were less, but now i had a vision.

My eyes had been closed the whole time.

what i could see was like the Universe had collected into some sort of Hologram, like a collection of everything, infinity
it looked like a Galaxy of pictures, but the pictures themselves were endless selections of information and stories.
it was surrounded by darkness a void, and all was condensed really were my forehead is located.
so it was strange to be conscious of this as i could still feel the floor of the room, but i did my breathing and tried to relax as much as i could.

and the pictures/files/information began to move like a school of fish and certain ones would come to highlight and grow, and they would open into other places and into others, and i sort-of went inside.

i had to be very patient and calm, only observe, huh Maybe something like "Look BUT don't Touch'

i noticed that even being aware of my own thoughts disrupted the delicate operations before me

so i was nearly not conscious! Just present.
it was like being confronted with a machine from Thousands of years in future, which replaces an ancient machine you are used to using.

but i believe some of the vision that i can remember was influenced by the Documentaries i had been watching recently.

then someone moved or i think the other dudes began talking, and i came back out of it.


then we drank another small cup.

and i think i started to get that relaxed calmness again,
then i threw up

then i remember for the rest it was more like a complete river of information like intelligence flowing from one side of my awareness to the other.

but i am sure i fell asleep somewhere here_
It is the reason i am wondering about Hypnotism to return and maybe recover some of whats lost, instead of just taking it again so soon, and make more use of what i have taken !! ``Plus the idea seemed pretty far out

so, so ,so i don't remember taking much from what i was offered.
maybe it is an interface which needs time/experience to become accustomed.

i'm not sure,
but i am sure that it is a whole different experience to Smoking DMT!

Great report, lol. I think taking Caapi without dmt might help you recall. Some things DMT-esque i theorize might be stored IN the actual molecules. Recall is going to be hard without releasing endogenous DMT.

I am actively researching sound for memory retrieval and dream inducing etc. hypnotism. But i'm only starting my project when school ends, unfortunately. Don't have the time. One can induce certain lucid dreams for revisiting certain states and memories I am certain.

I totally agree, that the plants seem to have programme or at least something very special within them, which works so powerfully with human minds.

I was wondering also, do you think hypnotism could induce a release of endogenous DMT ?
or simply help remember what was seen, if not to Actually 'RETURN' to the experience !?

I am fascinated with cymatics, and tones, even the state of 'Synesthesia' but don't know how that fits in there ?

What a few other people said- taking the plants again, just at a lower dose may help you access hidden information. It certainly worked for me with my Ayahuasca journeys, I get snapshots of what happened during my most powerful experience every other time I take it.

Obviously.

though i have just, through meditation, realised or better accepted the reason i was having trouble.
other than it was my first Ayahuasca journey, it was all that information being burnt into my conscious thoughts from documentaries, so close to my journey.

my mind was full of too much, layered in front of what was by now pushed to some over corner or resess of my mind.
its why i preach meditation at leazt a week before these journeys, and no television.


a clear mind is necessary for Ayahuasca, more so than smoked dmt, i have learnt through experience.

i am still hoping to find a hypnotist, i am living in Ecuador so its a tad bit more difficult than normal
