I had my usual vivid dreams full of amazing animals and a couple of people showing me their field full of plants/cacti/fungi that I recognized easily. I dream regularly about psychedelic plants mainly peyote. I woke up in the early morning for a restroom break around 1-2am. Nothing unusual. I fall to sleep easily once again and wake again to what only felt like a couple seconds later.

I turned my head and the clock read 6:26am. So i then turn my head to the ceiling and close my eyes. I don't remember if my eyes were openm(at the start of the experience) but i saw my ceiling fan for a split second and then saw a white/blue light streak in front of me sending a piercing screech into my ears. As or before this happened (the whole experience was so fast-paced I had no sense of time) I could tell my heart was racing and I could feel every nerve in my body vibrate. I knew I was in some sort of Astral projection and for some reason tried to move but could only move my arms. There was no light where I was and I had the feeling of traveling at extreme speeds. I felt extremely heavy and the vibrating sensation along with my heart rate continued to increase. I remember trying to sit up and and using my hand to grab something and at that instant I was thrown out of the experience and banged my head on the wall behind me.

It was such a odd and unexpected experience. I know this mostly sounds jumbled and probably won't make sense to most. I honestly am still trying to figure out what happened. All I know is that I enjoyed every second of it and will most definitely try to venture further into where ever I was headed.

If you understood anything of what I just said and could give me a feedback on what this might mean or what I can do to travel further/longer, please do.

Much love,
-Konnabis

Happened to me while dreaming once ...
Was shooting trough the "universe" faster than the speed of light and got this sensation of a DMT breaktrough but alot stronger!
It was so intense and lucid that i woke up in a shock with my heart racing like mad but at the same time there was this euphoria.
Later i was a little bit disappointed that i woke up so rapidly and couldnt enjoy this ride.
Im sure something great would have happened Very happy !

Hyperdreams yeay Thumbs up

A few weeks ago i had something semi-similar happen to me. It was a normal night, i was doing my government homework all day and at 12:00 i decided to make some kava and take my medications and go to bed so i drank the kava at about 12:30 and then i got ready for the night and layed in my bed and as soon as i closed my eyes i started seeing a bunch of swirling colors and patterns and i couldn't move and my whole body started tingling and went numb and it went on for like a minute and i just instantly fell into a dreamless sleep. It was weird but fun. And i haven't even tried any psychedelics yet. But i was handling some LSD that day so maybe some absorbed into my skin. Or it could've been a weird mystery.

I have had similiar experience with sleep paralysis, however i tend to not handle them so well, they are almost always of a malevolen nature for me. Im kinda jealous of people who have good expierenes with this; apparently it can be utilized but I cant seem to do it.

Try to work with it! Was this the first time this has happened?

First of this nature.
I remember dreams where I would be scared and command myself to wake up and still be in sleep paralysis but it was only until I regulated my breathing and that was only a few seconds after I became conscious.

I also can't shake the feeling that maybe the white light/particle was my higher self or spirit... Been looking into this certain topic all day Very happy

You used to only stay in sleep paralysis until you regulated breathing in your past experiences and then would wake up/get yourself out of it? Or you just tried regulating your breath this time and it turned your expierence into something positive?

I have sometimes been able to gain some control and regulate my breath before but this has never helped me wake up or turn the expierence around. The expierence was always so out of my control and dark and no matter how much I calmed down it was like what was happening could not change. Anyway luckily I'm not having sleep paralysis very often at all anymore. I lucid dream semi regularly but can never really gain much control or lucidity. However those expierences are genererally positive and really fascinating.

I never had anything near the magnitude of this experience. I honestly don't think anything was different during the other experiences with sleep paralysis I was still unable to move or speak but no hyperspace travel. And the paralysis would gradually go away after I regulated the breathing.
I have no clue what brought this experience on. It was completely unexpected.

So this just happened spontaneously. Thats interesting, have you been using any herbs or chemicals you dont normally use or started working more on meditation or anything? How are you planning on working on this?

I took 3mg of Melatonin last night after I ate some ice cream mix with powdered cacao nibs.
I meditate most days using various teks.
I also have used 125mics of hyoscyamine along with the melatonin to help with lucid dreaming (still not sure if it helps too much). I read on a couple of places that the hyoscyamine potentiates all psychedelics.

I was gunna ask if you use anything to help you be aware that your dreaming. Melatonin really helps? Ill have to look into hyoscyamine, I've never heard of it.

i get sleep paralysis occasionally and it's always followed by 5-15 seconds of intense DMT-like CEVs, like a visual buffer discharge. incredibly intricate symmetrical machines, patterns... wish they lasted longer.
