I've seen mapacho rolls on various sites and iirc there's a method of frementing the leaves to make mapacho rolls.

Does anyone know of a TEK or know how to do it?

How do you use nicotiana rustica?

I am not much of a smoker, though I do smoke a tobacco pipe pretty regularly. On the rare occasion I feel like having a cigarette, I actually use a blend. The belnd consists of various nice-tasting herbs, and a fairly small portion of Rustica. Its enough to give it a kick, and some flavor, but quite a small amount of tobacco overall.

From what I can tell, it was actually rare for natives to smoke just straight tobacco. It was often a part of smoking blends, but by no means the majority. I think they knew that one must use tobacco with respect, as it can pull one in to over indulge (see: industrialized white tubes made for high consumption).

There are also a few threads on using Rustica in a snuff, but I have never been one to take things through the nose, so I don't know much about that.
