I've had the same unsettling experience two days in a row: Both times it has come on when I've loaded the pipe with around 25/30mg but (unwittingly) only smoked around 20mg of it; very much back in reality - may be 7/8 minutes after the initial dose - I fire it up again to confirm my suspicion that I didn't get all the stuff vapourised, take the small leftover hit, and find myself sliding into a space quite unlike any other I've been to under the influence:

Disproportionately intense, melting, Dali-esque visuals set in (especially exaggerated in the case of my hands, which stretch grotesquely, as if boneless and jellied), strobing of different colours comes and goes, blurred lines, an on-and-off inability to keep my eyes fixed on anything in the room (as if the environment itself is darting about to escape my gaze) and a pronounced sense of confused motor function: a kind of mechanical control of the body that is relatively inaccurate, as if I were operating it inexpertly by remote control. So far so interesting / harmless (albeit utterly different to usual). What's less pleasant is that this experience is accompanied by a distinctly uncomfortable physical feeling in my head - one of large pockets of air sitting in my sinuses, or behind an eye, or - most unpleasantly - up against the inside wall of my cranium, as if pushing aside my brain. And like so, this 'bubble' moves around, before finally subsiding.

As I said, this has happened twice now. Until yesterday the physical aspect of my DMT experiences has extended to a lack of body - a benign or even euphoric dissociation, as if I have been lifted up and out of it, freed of its weight - so this was totally unexpected, especially coming from the addition of a minute dose to an already near-baseline state - the effect is incredibly heavy, long-lasting (and longer-lingering) and visually wholly different from the usually rigid, posterised, straight-line and geometric patterns aspect I get from these sub-breakthrough doses. Could it be the interaction between the fresh dose and the previous still in the process of being cleared? Or some change in chemical aspect due to its sitting in the warm wire-brush and being reheated before having a chance to fully re-condense? It doesn't taste any different, to my mind...

No, just my arms and hands! I was a little beyond standing up at that point, I think, aha...
