this is my experience report of my first DMT trip. ill start out by saying ive had extensive experience with mushrooms acid dxm some of the 2cs and ambien plus others that i cant remember at the moment. i didnt break through but i still wasnt prepared for it. i put an unknown amount in a freebase pipe and heated it with a lighter. the first hit tasted horrible and it actually made me wonder if i should continue smoking, i shook it off and the proceeding hits werent nearly as bad. i took three more small hits. starting to feel it. one more big hit. all of a sudden it hits me hard and i accidentally exhale early. all i remember thinking is 'oh shit' as i turn my head everything on the table multiplys and traces but no breakthrough. intense visuals and oddly reminded of mushrooms along with it. i couldnt feel my body. i couldnt move it it wasnt there. i felt like a formless entity. i thought 'this is what being a spirit feels like' starting to wish i hadnt exhaled my last hit. everything slowy decreased from here once i began to talk. in all i felt baseline at about 30 minutes. it was increadibly intense and ill be doing an extraction soon. i hope to breakthrough via changa or the sandwich method. any advice or comments apreciated! i should add that afterwards i feel much less stress and have much less muscle tension and a higher sense of clarity. how long this will lasnt im not sure...

If it tasted horrible you burned the spice. It should taste like a cross between mothballs and parma-violets. Less heat, did you use a turbo lighter, people say its better in a freebase pipe.

I might be wrong but i think if you wash the DMT and smoke it through a machine, then there should be no taste or smell. At least my DMT dosnt smell or taste of anything.
On my last expedition my friend was complaining about a metalic taste, it turned out i hadnt burnt all the coating off the copper scourer
