Hi all,

Recently Chaquah took DMT extracted from mimosa, for the fourth time.

First time he took about 20mg
2nd time about 50mg
3rd time 25 mg and this last time about 25mg again.

Chaquah did not experience a breakthrough but rather feels like he slowly gets to explore the dimension he lives in first before moving to the next level.

One thing that Quanah has known for many years is that he sees noise when he closes his eyes. Its not complete blackness. There is noise. He also sees this with his eyes open, but its clearer with eyes closed.

During his fourth journey, he noticed that the noise had turned sharp and that it is actually a sort of geometric flowing funneling grid. Reality is behind this grid.

Has anyone else experienced this. Could it be that this grid or matrix is always visible but just not in such a way that we can focus on it ?

Does anyone else have an idea about what he´s seeing ?

Another question that Chaquah has is the following.

Also during the last journey, it felt like it was the last journey on this level. There were hints of something else peaking through every now and then and unlike his first 3 journeys, the physical euphoria feeling started turning into vibrations and tingling, to the point that he started wondering if everything was still going well. The feeling was also very clearly moving towards the brain and even in the brain.

Is this an indication of getting close to the next level and not sth to worry about. Or is this not something good ? It felt a little scary.

Thanks for any reponses.

Hello again,

Im very much hoping someone can comment on what i wrote about the tingling/vibrating feeling. At the moment its preventing me from going on my next journey, because it makes me feel nervous about my spice.

It was pretty much the same feeling you get when youre sleeping on an arm and the bloodsupply gets cut off. That tingling feeling. I dont know the correct english word.

Hey Chaquah
The 'noise' you speak of is something called 'Visual snow'
I believe it to be the optic nerve recognising the firing of the rods and cones on your retina.
It is always there and can get quite pronounced when focused upon

The tingling you feel could either be Vasoconstriction
Or
The rush of hormone or peptide release that courses through your body when a foreign substance is introduced, such as a drug.
Or
Just the Spice... doing its thing.

Hope that helps Smile

Thanks Cyb,

Yes that does help. The visual snow is clearly what i see. But more funky things are happening with it today. There are pattens in the snow and when i focus on a pattern (or create a pattern in the snow), for a moment the vibration stops and i see something clearly, its only for a moment cause i can´t keep it clear.

This happened under the shower, and i could do it repeatdly, but never hold it as the noise would immedialty take over again. But its something interesting to play around with.

Als thanks for your Vasoconstriction comment. Allthough i thinks that is now worrying me more even. Dont want the bloodflow to be constricted. But i tend to go for the other explanation. It felt like a strange rush. However it only happened the last time and right afterwards i thought that it might be me on the edge of leaving my body or sth, as i´ve also never had that happen before.

It could also be Synesthesia - i have it and get complex and repeatable colour-shape combos with the same noise.
Sometimes open eye visible, but definitely easier to see eyes closed

Hi Chaquah!

Sometimes swim can both see and feel his eyelids vibrating from inside before swim hits the warp. Eyes closed Smile
Swim finds it hard to focus on details. Every millisec. the visaulas are refreshing as one tries to set focus on them. At least it is so for swim. Its easier to see the whole picture Smile

Stay safe and have fun!

This is what I think is going on. Does anyone notice that when the spice hits, the noise turn into the visuals or a grid ?

I am still a bit concerned about the vasoconstriction part. I read another post where it is said to be something that can possibly happen during low dose experiences.

Could it be a consequence of me being pretty stoned from weed the time it happened ? (Allthough Im quite used to smoking weed on a daily basis.)

hey Chaquah!
every time SWIM has done DMT there has been a "visual grid" and depending on what noise is going on has seen different things!

and also the whole "pins and needles" of your arm and eventually brain feeling cut off was probably nothing to worry about as SWIM had the same thing during his last breakthrough! maybe it means your getting close...Smile

but i would love to hear more about your "visual grid" as you called it considering that SWIM thinks he knows what your talking about...

and you said you were in the shower while on DMT?Surprised
try relaxing music (with little to no vocals) and watching the shower with your ears! (if you know what i mean with your visual gridVery happy )

be safe

Yes its a bit tricky dosing with all the water and steam Pleased No but seriously, i do NOT take DMT under the shower Smile Allthough who knows, maybe someday.

I was explaining what happens in the morning when i'm showering and still very clear of thought (read: not smoked any weed yet). It is actually still happening every morning. Its sort of the same thing as what happens when you stare at a stereogram, at the moment when you see the 3D image. So when focus changes i think.

On my last journey i saw the grid again but i was more interested in my plant this time, so i forgot to further investigate the visual noise grid issue.

What does SWIY think about the visual grid could be ? Has he also seen it turn from visual noise to a grid ?

i honestly do not know what this grid is but i think that while on the spice you are hyper aware of your surroundings so maybe while focusing on the sound and the visuals (im convinced that the trip [at least for me] is very auditory in nature and depending on what you hear your trip will be more intense or less so) one could get a sense of distortion that is also common on dmt when things that are different get jumbled together... so maybe its like your audio and visual trips getting fused together... i dont know just a thought. let me know what you think of the theory?

and definitely had the visual noise to a grid like pattern thing happen at least once.
