So I'll try to make the intro as short as possible. Lately I've been dealing with alot of existential stuff. My last time I found that a "darker" sounding song gave me the best breakthrough so far. I was wondering if I needed to have more darker trips to really get to the heart of things and was trying to find "darker" type songs for the past few days before my next breakthrough.

So yesterday I decided to just do a low dose of mushrooms thinking that they would put me in a much better mood like they always do, but I've never done them at night. Sadly, I noticed they didn't put me in the best mood, but I shrugged it off and as the night went on I THOUGHT it calmed down a bit.

So me and friend make our fire pit,its night time, but the moon was insanely bright. I get relaxed, and start taking my hits as soon as the 3rd one was done I knew at the moment I was going to have a bad trip. It was on my mind the whole week, and yeap...I got what I asked for.

First thing that happened was I felt like someone had pushed the back of my chair to try to tip it over. And as soon as I shut my eyes I was brought to what looked like a medical lab or something. As if I was laying down and there were around 20 entities just staring down at me while there was a bright light in the middle of it all. I then saw an electric guy just walking to the right of me bringing me somewhere else, at this point it felt like I had falledn down and was being transported to these weird lands, moutains of people inside caves just eating each other. People 69'ing each other in repeat patterns,mouths within mouths and then people falling from the inside of the mouths. Everything was repeating infinitely and multiplying. Now, while all this was going, I felt a very heavy presence. It's as if there was another person playing games with me and I could feel them to the left of me. At that point I heard footsteps running around right in front of me like someone had stomped their foot right in front of me, so yeah that scared me as well.

Closed my eyes again, and another song had came on, Light my fire by the The Doors, and was like ok, now it looks like its fun finally. I was shown a sea of cool patterns, a pirate ship made of holographic wood panels that featured a naked lady in the front of it. I then saw a baby floating in space that transformed into a beautiful lady that brought me to this person (resembled Jesus). I literally thought I was having a spiritual breakthrough at this point. But then I saw all these wizards,like they were having meetings, and I was slowly being brought closer to them. At this point they transformed into this 1 huge being and I came face to face with it and it must of hit at the exact moment of the song because it again scared me and I opened up my eyes.

I close my eyes, re-open, and close. And I notice that I'm flipping through "channels" in my mind. If I don't like what I'm seeing, I just open them up and "switch" the channel. I can't remember all of what I saw, but it was triangles made of up eyes, ladies that were morphing into other ladies,flying eyeballs,crawling spiders and after maybe 50 or so channel flips the presence was back again. The music instantly transformed and moved its field around me, I told my friend that it's getting bad again, and all I needed to do was just open up my eyes to end the trip and my friend was about to turn off the music, but I told him just to let it ride out since I was asking for this all week, so I had to just man up and deal with it. Everything started turning all electric in my eyes, horses with electric fires coming out, sharp looking aliens and once again I hear a loud noise all the way to my right 20 feet away as something was running to the right of me, scared again I open up my eyes with my heartbeat just jumping.

I look at the fire and I suddenly get that vibration that I heard people talk about .. I feel the vibration in the fire if that makes any sense and it makes its way to my heart. I keep seeing some entity on the left of me,kinda shadowy standing up, I don't look at it. So I look to the rightside and notice the garbage bag,the spotlight from the moon shines on it,and it turns into a sort of singing frog face. I'm like....lol ok...the forest looks like a fake 2d hologram and then I look at the stars , and they seem normal, then after 10 seconds, I see all sorts of new stars just fizzling in and out.

Not much after the breakthrough winds down..My friend says welcome back, and that I was gone for more than 20 minutes. I've only explained maybe a 10th of what I saw..since I cant remember it all anymore. It was def much worse than what I described, but after god knows how many psychedelic trips I finally had my first "bad" one. I would have to say the scary visuals I saw didn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. The thing that bothered me the most was the constant presence of whatever felt like was near me , the chair jolt, foot stomps and foot steps was just really crazy...

Weirdly my mind after all this was at complete rest. I thought going to sleep was going to be horrible, but it's been the quickest I've ever fallen asleep in I don't know how long. I feel energized yet relaxed today and in a much better mindset from all this.

Possibly, one of the coolest trips I've ever read... I've only read 20 Or so...

I know what you meant by the fire vibration.

I haven't had a bad trip yet, but it sort of sounds neat

Yeah even though it was a bit dark, I'd have to say it was very explorative. I was stupid too, cause I knew I wasn't in the best of moods from the shrooms and the dmt gave off a very cold feel...but now I know not to do it again like that,lesson learned.

Firepit is actually in a friends backyard, we setup the portable firepit, so its above ground. And then I have 2 speakers and mini sub setup for a complete surround sound setup..


I'm actually writing up my next breakthrough now..it's probably the wildest/funnest one yet.

Good trip report man! I enjoyed reading it sounds intense!! I have had the same effects, by opening and closing your eyes and being able to change what you are experiencing. But other times ive had a breakthrough so strong it felt like my eyes were peeled open and i could not close them even if I wanted to.

If you want to hear something dark I really suggest this:

i just bought 2 speakers and a mini sub for my pc,tv,music, well worth the investment. the sound is excellennt and the sub carries the sound making it, as you say, surround.

i have listened to some dark hip hop on shrooms and it goes down well, which was unexpected.



perhaps it cleared the dark mood you had? i find that any negativity must first be felt or experienced as it leaves you. nice report thanks

Crystal, I do think your right. Ever since that night I've been feeling better each day. My existential depression for at least right now has subsided. Monday's are alway's extremely hard for me since I no longer enjoy my line of work and am trying to figure life out. And since that night I no longer have that "bad ball" in my chest that I have been feeling.

Yeah I find the super strong breakthroughs where the OEV are just intense seems like my eyes are wide open as well.

Yeah for a surround setup I use omnipolar type speakers, set them up outside so the speakers are in front of us, and I try to get them as even as possible in distance and a few foot above the ground. Then I put the subwoofer behind us, so it pulls the sound back our way creating a surround sound,but the reason why this works is that its a very cheap sub so vocals still come out of it, makes the sound much fuller..It's really the only cheap subwoofer I've ever liked in my life lol

If you guys can really get a surround sound going to where its fully immersed like I have when you breakthrough (or at least for me) the sound can get pretty crazy or the soundstage becomes incredibly huge. I would say when I breakthrough the sound easily sounds like your in a club.
