Shroomery member here, psyched to be a part of the community. Have about ten dmt trips under my belt and loved dmt until this one trip where I mixed it with adderall and the vibe just felt so wrong I remember it clear as day (I hate adderall soooo much) and my imagination got the best of me and now im somewhat scared of deems. What happened was i encountered this mean dark 'standing ant' type entity (best I can describe lol) and it seemed mad at me (maybe because I did adderall with it?). It was beating me on the head with a mallet or some shit in the creepiest looking room I've ever seen. Not to mention all the fractals were coming at me and felt like needles when they hit me.

I've done deems since then but I keep this dark vibe everytime somewhat and this vibe feels like I'm stepping into some dimension that will hook me up with crazy shit. I wanna just do deems and learn about whats on my mind. I have a fascination for aliens yet I'm kind of freightened of them and they're getting in the way of me enjoying my dmt trips. I don't know if it's because I associate them with dmt or what but that trip FREAKED MY SHIT OUT.

Can someone just tell me with confidence this shit is just a way to unlock our conscious and not some whack shit like I'm thinking it is. If I want to look into my mind and see all it's beauty does it mean I have to deal with these random creepy entities or is there some way around this? I wanna be able to blast off every two hours fearlessly...but can't

Welcome! There are a few very good in-depth threads about negative entities and negative entity contact, one by hyperspace fool i believe, and also, we prefer not to use the term "deems" here, it just seems kind of disrespectful non?

Welcome welcome, enjoy your stay!

I've also had weird grumpy insectoids, who didn't seem too stoked on me being in their sector of the universe.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Probably not the best substance for looking deep into yourself (unless taken orally). DMT is too fast and too other-worldly to learn much about yourself.

That's kind of part of the package.

In my experience, and probably most everyone else as well, there is no way around it. Do it enough and eventually you have experiences like this.

You may want to reevaluate why you're using DMT in the first place. These kinds of negative experiences are definitely going to show themselves if you're abusing it.

I'm inclined to agree with Dioxippus, this sounds a bit reckless if I'm honest

i'm most likely too new to be posting this, but you might want to mind the language a bit, cursing is kinda frowned upon here at the Nexus.

I actually laughed at the way he said it. I have an irish friend and I pictured him saying it that way.

In one of my experiences - I landed in front of the high priestess. A tarot card? I had never seen a tarot card in my life - my friend later suggested it. And it matched perfectly. Even the cards description to my life.

Clearly some people laugh at the thought of it being real. Other people will even suggest the entities are Gods or aliens.

Ive done a lot of crazy stuff, but I dont think my brain in its wildest of dreams could fabricate something so perfect.
Maybe the entity (like other posters here) thought you were going into it with the wrong state of mind?

Believe me, I dont know what the right state of mind is either. But after my visit with the high priestess, I felt like a kid. Because I was in this perfect place with her, and all I could do was giggle and say "Oh my God" over and over again. Sort of the way I'd expect a lesser fortunate person to act in a rich person's house?

Anyway, no one knows for sure. Its like religion Razz

Also trips can have lingering effects, which may make back to back tripping (every 2 hours) even worse experiences.

Follow your heart (for your answers) and travel safely!
Believe in it if you want to I say... who cares.

You should try to embrace the darkness as much as the light. IMHO to me it sounds like you may consider slowing things down. I'm coming at you not from judgment but from past experience as I was once in your place and I got slapped pretty hard. Your being given warnings it sounds to me. It's best to heed these things. Dmt is an excellent teacher when used in a healthy manor.

As far as telling you if the beings are real or not nobody can say with any certainty. Cherish each journey good it bad and take time to integrate. That's were the learning happens more than many realize.

I am not experienced as many on here, but I have had light and dark experiences.
The 2 main dark experiences I encountered demons, hundreds of them, I stared right at them with the chill running down my spine.I It was soon over. I did not fear them.

Second time I could feel things going wrong and I burst into song, singing at them it was really strange. But it did change the course of things.

I would certainly not use this compound as a "lets get high drug"
IMO this should be respected and to abuse it would be a mistake.

But on a lighter note, there is lots of useful info here and some great people.
Welcome.

If you don’t want the possibility of reaching the furthest depths of darkness and fear, don’t work with spice. Spice may be beautiful at times, but you have to take the rough with the smooth.

Spice can be fun and entertaining, it can be enlightening, don’t expect to be given an easy ride though, you get what you are given. You can go some small way to making journeys less likely to be difficult by working on set and setting but this really is no guarantee.

Roll the infinite-sided dice and see what you get given.

Please mind your language.

As for your experience, you must learn how to react from it. If your body is telling you to not do any more because of that experience then my advice is to not do any more, despite your bodily cravings.

I am incredibly well travelled with spice, but the more I work with it the more fearful I become of it. Just because you use spice so much does not mean you can grow accustomed to it in any way. It will turn your mind inside out whether you want it to or not. Respect the spice, and it can help you learn. Abuse the spice and it is going to abuse you.

Hey, not to change the subject but was it normal singing or was your voice a different sound/tune?

Do you spice things up with music? (No pun intended)

Firstly, don't be doing adderall with DMT, and especially with DMT/MAOI containing blends. Skating on thin ice my friend..

DMTs not a toy. It's not some recreational, 'do every day', type of substance. It takes honest work both within the imbiber and out in this physical slice of reality we call Life. It takes time to integrate. DMT also acts as one of the most powerful mirrors known. If you don't like what you see and/or your experiencing, then maybe it's time to step back and give this some serious/honest thought, whether this type of experience is right for you or not.

Don't get so wrapped up in this concept of 'aliens'. Push that to the side. That will only hinder your future journeys. The experience is outside of all the conceptual framework that we as humans build up. It's outside of outside. It's also neither of those.

The only guarantee is transience my friend.

much love,
tat

i am a newbie when it comes to dmt compared to most people on this site but not to hallucinogens. i agree with you to a certain extent if you do not know what you are doing or in a bad mindstate your experience will have more negative aspects. i have taken acid mdma and speed on a daily basis for a long period of time when i was younger and when you abuse heed the warning signs !!!!!! but i also believe this type of experience will indeed be a weekly if not daily essential to life. not as recreational lets get mashup vibe but to learn about our existance and the existance of other planes. like any drug you have to respect it and accept whatever comes to you within each exploration but this applies doubly for dmt as it is so powerful. also my housemate started singing when she felt it go darker and loved each moment. i had a darker experience last night that i described in my welcome post and embraced it which seemed as wonderful as the light !

What if it is both your "imagination" (whatever that is anyways, we haven't a clue) and "real entities"? Or something else entirely that transcends those arbitrarily labels? Regardless of any potential answer to these questions the experience and its affects on our consciousness will still be the same subjective phenomenon as it is now.

I don't mean this judgmentally, I just know how you feel since I've been there. Despite it being the most amazing and fun thing imaginable at times, DMT is very serious stuff and you can burn yourself with it if you act like its just a toy or all tulips and daisies. Your entire reality becomes malleable and can be re-programmed into more beneficial or detrimental patterns.

Over time its inevitable that you run into harsher experiences and some dark entities (whatever they are). This possibility is always there but there are ways to help avoid them or work through them if they arise (prep, set/setting, and integration are very useful tools). Some of these though can also be very important learning experiences.

Also, mixing it with adderral sounds horrible so I would personally avoid that combination.

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

universe cannon, are you seriously saying that you think that Your "reality" can shift after smoking dmt? Your post intrigued me because I have no idea what you are implying. Are you saying that you think that reality can change with a dmt trip? even after you've come down?

For example you are in a room with a circular table, you smoke spice, come down, and now the table is rectangular?

Or are you implying that your perception of reality is malleable and can change for the better/worse?

I believe the latter but I am quite interested in knowing if there are people here who actually think a Dmt trip can alter the reality in which they exist, after they have come back .

In which case I would ask, "So why are you still here typing on an internet forum".
