I had ordered a big bag of salvia leaves, they sat around for awhile, and eventually most of the leave mass ended up finely ground at the bottom of the bag.
So I found the perfect way to quid this. I'll TEK it out just for fun
Materials:
A bunch of ground salvia
A few coffee filters
Scissors
A cup
A small glass dish
Dropper
My coffee filters were cone-style, like this
Coffee FiltersPut a bunch of ground salvia leaves on a flat surface and then used a bookmark to separate piles about 3/4s of an inch wide and 4 inches tall.
(three of these piles was a good enough dose for me)
Separated three of these piles and put the rest back in with the rest of the bulk salvia.
Coffee filters have a bit more paper than necessary for this purpose, so as I rolled up the coffee filters I also cut down some of the paper.
After making three little wontons, put them in the glass dish and put nice fresh water in your cup.
use the dropper to nicely saturate the wontons, do it with intention and love
This is the time to prepare your spaceThen put them in your mouth, and take some sips from your cup to fully saturate the whole situation. (Put in all three then take sips of water)
One note is that this method takes up a little more space than typical quids. Personally I didn't find it to be a problem, after lightly chewing and moving water through the leaves for a bit, I just relaxed my jaw. The wantons helps to leave my mouth comfortably open.
Needless to say, salvia is awesome. This is a way to extract the active compounds using water in your mouth.
Spit out the wontons into the dish after 10-15 minutes.
