The volunteer had an interesting experience today. Although it was not extremely vivid and certainly not break through it was among the most beautiful things he had ever seen and is curious how many people have seen it, as it is frequently described in other accounts. One large toke was administered during a thunderstorm while The Doors was playing. Upon closing the eyes a neon green and red mandala appeared, as had during other experiences, which transformed into a vast ornate morphing rainbow dome. It was somewhere between a lotus pattern, stained glass windows and an Indian motif, however infinitely more detailed than can be described. A tapered central pillar of blue light extended down from the roof wherein a shadowy spider or scorpion like figure was suspended in the center. Although no definite entities were encountered and no communication took place, the volunteer left with a greater appreciation of beauty in general. The volunteer has been quite satisfied "trolling the shallows" as it were, never taking more than one large toke or several successive small tokes until hallucinations were appropriately vivid without being overwhelming.

I feel there may be more world-relevant information at moderate levels than blasting into unknown regions of hyperspace without a notion of how one got there or annihilating the ego. I believe that although delving into the unknown ether regions is priceless in and of itself, it is not necessarily useful to us here. I also believe trying for breakthrough in the first go is wasteful and unnecessary. This may seem harsh but I feel apropos- pearls before swine. one needs a chance to pick up smaller lessons along the way. I believe Terrence McKenna put it best when he said we should go out as a fisherman- we're not looking for things so small as to be useless, nor things so large that we can't reel them back in but the middle sized things we can use.

Domes seem to be something of a common feature. I frequently go to a dome that is connected to many other rooms, though it is not as ornate as you describe. Sometimes it's inhabited and sometimes not, but one time when there were entities there, their sudden activation of a sequence of high pitched tones kicked out the gravity in the room as I floated up and around the dome in a sea of magnetism.

What was striking is how the walls shifted about in a semi-mechanical but fluid way. His first comment after seeing it was "I know where the inspiration for stained glass windows comes from." No doors were seen, but I will instruct the volunteer to look for something of the sort if he returns to it.
