It's been a long time since I have posted and a full week since my undeniable initiation to the ranks of those who have had a breakthrough experience. Not a day has gone by since since the experience where I have not pondered, postulated and reveled in the experience. It seemed even more special as hyperspace opened up to me on my 42 birthday with my last 50ish Mgs.

I was camping with my wife and two children, the kids were fast asleep in the motorhome and it was a beautiful quiet night. My wife had been my sitter in the past for sub breakthrough doses but I am thankful I again prepared her for "sitting". As previously reported I always kept eyes open and never took a second hit. I had always marveled at the perceptual shift and had always been awe struck with lower doses, I had no idea up till last week what awe struck was.

I took 1 long deep hit, inhaling harder than I usually do. Perhaps it was the technique but I am leaning towards there being residual DMT in the pipe from a previous session. Instantly, before I had exhaled the geometric patterns and shapes, which previously seemed translucent and needing time to form and coalesce erupted or exploded across my closed eye visual field. Little did I know I was "out" the pipe (thankfully not a GVG) had, according to my wife tumbled out of my hand. The breakthrough transition was utterly powerful. The strange shapes and patterns spinning and interlocking at incredible speed of transition. And the sounds. It wasn't music per say but neither was it just a cacophony of tones, it seemed to blend perfectly with the shapes and patterns forming until it hit a crescendo at which point everything stopped instantly with the electronica like vibration/sound striking one final held tone. I seem to remember saying in my mind at this point, OH....MY......GOD but even my own inner voice seemed slowed and reverberating. Then I was "there".

Gone was the forest and the trees, gone was the camp fire and my family. Gone was any sembelance of the universe I knew. I have made a previous post where I described being in a room, similar to my own living room but very very different in a DMT way and pondering to the community if I had broken through. I now know, that for me at least, if I have to ask I haven't broken though as a breakthrough is utterly undeniable.

A version of being in a room remained, however this room, was made of pure energy and did not seem to conform to a 3D model of a room. I was observing everything in that space from strange angles. I was elated, flabbergasted. I got the sense there were "others" in the space but I saw no beings. I am unsure as to whether I was just thinking to myself and responding to myself, but I remember thinking/ saying this changes everything and either my own inner voice or a telepathic type response saying "yes, it sure does". Unable to rationalize the experience I truly, implicitly had the sense that " normal reality" is, well, the matrix. I got the impression that something was as elated for me as I was. It is so hard to remember details, I came back with the impression I was in well, almost like a digitized hyperspace disco tech.

I don't recall the transition back to ordinary reality. My eyes opened and at some point I noticed wet material on my shirt and pondered out loud what was it? At this point I didn't even truly comprehend I had broken through. My wife then told me I had coughed out the vapor I had inhaled and been drooling. She went on to describe that I was "out" but I had been making vocalizations, giggles and squeals of joy and she was surprised camping neighbors had not come out to see what was going on. It was at this point I realized I had done it. I finally had my unmistakable breakthrough hit.

I am no longer afraid of breaking through. There was no fear, even in that OH....MY......GOD moment. I returned unscathed, there was no roller coaster or bungy jumping physical transition(which I deeply feared) and I didn't have a heart attack. Difficult experiences are likely to occur in the future but I look forward to being shown what's beyond that psycho disco tech space and travel deeper down the rabbit hole.

I feel so truly privileged to have had this experience. Perhaps it was merely luck that I had my first breakthrough on my birthday but I like to think not. I am so thankful there is a community like this. No one that I have told outside these forums can even remotely appreciate the significance and magnitude of these experiences.

Thank you all for reading, relating and appreciating.

Awesome report! You describe it well. The rabbit hole goes on forever, your journey of infinite exploration has just begun.

Good luck.
In the province of the mind what one believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits. These limits are to be found experimentally and experientially. When so found these limits turn out to be further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits. However, in the province of the body there are definite limits not to be transcended.-J.C. Lilly

Congrats! Great post. Everything I'm reading today has a tone of familiarity to it! The disco room for example.. i once had an experience similar to this with a disco dance party in hyperspace, but I saw many entities, and even went a bit further than that room.. At one point I could see an entity dancing with my girlfriend who had also entered with me on this occasion. She was beside me on the couch. We both had the feeling like he was also healing her in some way while he danced.. Very cool! I've yet to ry a trip on my birthday, but will have to give it a go next year!
Thanks again for sharing your experience. Bless

Congratulations.
It's gotta be the most amazing experience to have and to share, at least in my opinion tho i still have a lot of life to experience.
A very well written report. You should definitely write the one about your next breakthrough.
I think your second visit might scare you a little, you can never know what to expect.

Joshua, great report! some beautiful language in there that sent a shiver down my spine.. thankyou for posting

"Gone was the forest and the trees, gone was the camp fire and my family. Gone was any sembelance of the universe I knew." .. this is a very memorable quote for me and I think deserves a palce in the "memorable quotes" thread

This is how it went for me Smile I obviously know better than to be of the opinion, "I've done DMT once and now I know what it's about." but I must've let some of that creep in unknowingly because my second breakthrough was much more harrowing than my first.

Birthdays seem to be special in terms of psychedelic voyages. Some of my best experiences were birthday trips. Especially ayahuasca...my last birthday was absolutely amazing. I had a couple very memorable birthday trips in high school with LSD and mushrooms as well.

Great report, it sounds like you had an incredible experience!

And although it never happened, I love the idea of a fellow camper stumbling out their tent to see you rolling around drooling and giggling. If only they knew!
