Hey, Nexians!

Here's my proposition: let's form a club to learn more about basic-to-advanced chemistry. I think we could use a "book club" format to focus our attention.

I suggest we begin with Chemistry for Dummies by John T. Moore. It is inexpensive and seems like a sufficient starting point. We can discuss chapters as we progress; eventually, I hope, chapters from there or other books can be used for real-world applications.

With the cat-and-mouse game of plant sources, watched chemicals, etc., it's probably wise for us all to help move the ball forward in whatever ways we can. Knowledge of chemistry seems foundational.

I'd appreciate any feedback (your criticisms, too).
