This question mainly pertains to when on mushrooms because smoking dmt you cant look in a mirror and ayahuasca the only time I am close to a mirror is when im in my bathroom either puking like crazy or the same thing out the other end otherwise for me it just makes me try make snowmen on my carpet for 3 hours. But if anybody has willed themselves to look in a mirror on something else other then boomerz please share. one time after eating 4 grams of some not so tasty golden caps I found my self completely zoned out on anything except staring in the mirror locked on to my face. and my whole body completely changed in front of me into something that looked like those blue things from avatar but it was yellow with brown freckles all over. I fully believed this was something else then me so when I moved my arm the creature moved its arm and same when I spoke, but I didn't realize it was me doing it till way later. So I am just wondering if anybody has experienced anything crazy while looking at themselves through a mirror?

I dont get that either uni..some people here call them "zimmers". Never understood that either. To be they are mushrooms.

Mirrors and mushrooms can be very weird. High dose LSA and a mirror was also very weird and somewhat freaky.
Long live the unwoke.

The first couple of times I ate mushrooms I would purposely avoid looking at myself in the mirror.. no idea why but I'd just sneak on past the mirror and avoid looking at it.

but yeah it can be interesting... last time I looked at myself in the mirror after eating some mushrooms, I saw myself, then myself looking at myself in the reflection of myself in my eyes and then... so on and so forth.. that went on for a little while=)

I don't know about the origin of the term boomers but I always imagined it was because you'd spend so much time waiting and caring for them, and then *boom* first flush. mushrooms exploding out of the substrate all at once. haha. I highly doubt that was it though!

I dislike when people call them "boomers". But then I call them shrooms sometimes.

A noteworthy observation, I know exactly what your talking about with the mirrors and thats one of the reasons i have a room full of mirrors. Staring into the mirror you can notice your face morphing all about, and its always hilarious to look into the eyes of someone deep in a mushroom trip.

Haha interesting, that's certainly more intense than anything I've encountered behind the mirror...my experiences looking into mirrors on mushrooms always depends on the part of the trip. If it's during the come-up or during the peak, its always by accident, and I tend to look at myself and all my shape-shifting features and think "Man I look horrible and disgusting right now", and proceed to get out of the bathroom as fast as possible lol. Usually once I start coming down, I'll stumble into the bathroom and notice how gigantic my eyes look, and I'll laugh at my goofy giggling self for a few minutes (well, feels like hours, but that's mushrooms for ya).

wow jelly fox I would be so scared if I had a room in my house just covered with mirrors but if I did I would lock myself in there and then take 4 grams of the finest mushrooms(boomerz ha) and see how crazy things would get. of course have a key hidden somewhere. mirrors are just crazy.

Looking into the mirror on hallucinogenic substances is very effective visually but definitely nothing to play around with IMO and could have devastating psychological results if attempted while in the wrong set, setting or state of mind.

Under certain set/settings or if you're unprepared to face yourself then you probably shouldn't engage in it too much...But in general I think its actually something people should experiment with more. You can learn a lot about yourself and consciousness/imagination/hyperspace, and believe it or not you can actually learn to enter incredibly wierd states with just a mirror alone and no psychedelics

Mirrors and LSD are always a good one lol, or a very bad one depending on the set and setting. I've had a bad trip while looking at my face in the mirror on two hits and my eyes started to breathe and droop down almost to my mouth. This was later followed by me singing jeepers creepers where'd you get them peepers.

Reminds me of being at a restaurant the first time I ever did LSD. I had heard that you should never look at a mirror on LSD, but I had to go to the bathroom. When in the restroom, curiosity got the best of me, and I looked at the mirror, and started laughing, realizing the tiles were pink.

I was high and accidentally went to the ladies room.
