Hey everyone,

I made the title "I see the pain within and I know the way of healing.." because I have met a girl that I work with. I first would chat with her because I worked with her. Later I found that we were actually compatible as friends. We hang out a few times spilling a little bit of our history and pain and joys we have experienced in life, the usual. Lately, she has been acting maybe different or maybe I am seeing another layer of her that I just didn't know existed. Either way I noticed something that bothered her and in reflection bothered me.

Figuring out that she has experienced many deaths in her life leads me to believe that she may have unfinished "work" to do with these occurrences. She seems very on edge with emotion and I feel that she needs to look at her past with different spectacles. Myself, obviously, being a psychonaut and avid promoter of the power and meaning when it comes to healing with psychoactive substances, specifically entheogens.

I, myself, have worked through very difficult situations with the holy help from these plant medicines. They have shown me deep emotion that has and have been untouched for decades almost. I have been able to come to terms with a lot of the baggage and no longer feel the weighing down or pain that these phantom memories would cause. When I meet certain people that are in pain because of something, and of course seem to be somewhat open to the idea of alternative psycho-therapy such as seldom if only one time entheogen use, I try to open them up to the realm of possibility.

I try to re-assure them that is it a spiritual sacrament, the whole nine yards. Make sure they know the facts, good and bad, about the entheogens we may be talking about. I feel like she is just on the cusp of saying "Yes, I will try", but I feel she is scared or hesitant still. With this being the case, I feel she is holding herself back from one of the most profound and special and meaning experiences she can be offered on this side of the consciousness barrier.

So, my question to all of you is how do you make sure to make this person feel safe? I have never introduced this type of thing to an "outsider" and am not sure exactly how to go about showing them. I am almost positive she will benefit and I have a feeling she knows it too. Any experience or wisdom would be outstanding on how to make this be a healing experience for her. I suppose I need her to say yes first! Thumbs up

Thanks for reading.
