I'm in the beginning stages of planing a trip to mexico/peru, I want to go for 2-3 months at the end of the year/ first 1/4 of 2014.

Essentially, I'm looking for anyone who's been before, who would recommend historical locations, spiritual locations, any locations in general.

Any advice etc is entirely welcome
