So today I got to test the waters. My technique and apparatus need improvement before my next attempt, I will certainly order the gvg. Debating enhanced leaf as well.
Initial impressions... as much as I have read about this subject for years, and I have a significant amount of 'traditional' psychedelic experience, nothing could have prepared me for how FAST it hits. It was difficult to keep smoking because within 20-30 seconds, I felt so weird and partially disembodied that I had to force myself to continue.
The room was vibrating, and a curious body-load that was initially alarming mostly from how quick it came on... my body felt like it wasn't receiving orders from central command... I had enough sense to force myself to hit it again and lay back on my couch. I was tachycardic, easily in the 150's. I mentally repeated my 'mantra' that I learned from high dose psychedelics, "It's okay, it's safe, relax and give in". Then it hit, and the unease faded.
Closed eye visuals of immense complexity... akin to the early peak of high dose psilocybin. Very quickly moving overlapping lattices of geometry... it had the mathematical complexity of lsd combined with the 'organic' feeling and tone of psilocybin, more closely resembling the latter. I knew even as this was occurring that I hadn't ingested enough.
I suppose this was the 'waiting room' that I hear so much about. I was moderately disappointed that I didn't get to breakthrough, however I came back (also damn quick) with the knowledge that what I extracted is both safe and the real deal... I had logically assumed this as it smells like a new pair of sneakers and looks right... it's still nice to have this confirmation.
I wonder if I should make an enhanced leaf with at least half of my extraction. The speed that this came on was a little unsettling, and if I can get to the full breakthrough at a slightly slower pace it may be preferable.
Thanks for reading,
