i'm curious to know if anybody has had any success with this in any changa/enhanced leaf blends...

from what i've read, it's traditionally used in purification rituals, and is said to enhance closed-eye visuals when smoked...

from what i've done, it's pretty horrible tasting & basically has removed any visual aspect from every blend i've tried it in... Thumbs down anybody ever experience any such happenings with this herb?.. i've got an ounce of it here that is real close to becoming compost...

Re Tagetes - can't help re use in changa -

It seems the traditional purification ritual use - is for washing dead bodies?
(makes sense if the rest of my post is accurate...)

Another use for Tagetes - is in essential oil skin creams,
I have used oils from tagetes as a stabiliser / anti bacterial / anti fungal.

It apparently helps prevent racimisation(?) - i.e. decompostion of the oils.
Maybe small amounts would extend the shelf life of changa?

Wikipedia suggests it's most potent bits are thiophenes,
which kill gram negative and gram neutral bacteria.

Never heard of psycho-active bits though...
