I've successfully consumed my own brews on four separate occasions, only dry-heaving the first time but not vomiting. The same cannot be said for a couple of my friends, who each projectile vomited only AFTER drinking the mimosa tea and not the b. caapi. IME it is the mimosa that is solely responsible for nausea and vomiting, but I've read conflicting reports on numerous different forums. I wonder if those individuals do not drink the teas separately but instead combine the admixture into one beverage, so they believe that the b. caapi is responsible. I have waited as long as one hour after drinking b. caapi before consuming the admixture, and experienced no nausea during that hour. Nausea may occur if more b. caapi is consumed, but one friend vomited only after a sip of mimosa so I am identifying this as the larger issue. I have only shared this with two trustworthy friends, and we have alternated sitting each other, but they have each vomited immediately and have sorely missed out, not to mention wasted both b. caapi and mimosa. If I am to extract freebase and dissolve it into an acidic solution, will this circumvent the nausea? Is pharmahuasca a guaranteed nausea-free solution? I'd rather not leave this up to trial and error at the expense of valuable b. caapi vine and mimosa root bark powders. "Culture is NOT your friend" - TMK

Its the combination of both that causes the nausea. You could also drink mimosa without MAOI, and not feel any nausea, (or much of anything at all unless you use alot) IMO it is the whole enchilada that causes the nausea, which i believe is at least partially only psychological. You could clear out your mimosa brew of solids with an eggwhite tech, or with vaccum filtration, to make the brew clear and less chalky. Extracting the alkaloids and taking them orally may reduce the initial nausea, but it will still cause the same nausea later on. Good luck brother, i hope you get it working for you cause its the best stuff there is. You have never been apart from me. Remove the tannins and solids by using egg white (search egg white tek) or even better active carbon if you have access to it (can be found in aquarium shops for water filtering) The character Indoril_Nerevar is an artistic work of fiction, and thus all his claims and ideas are works of falsehood and fiction and should be treated likewise. I actually performed egg white clarification, but have not yet dabbled with activated carbon, although I do have some handy. "Culture is NOT your friend" - TMK

I suppose part of the nausea is created by the DMT contents of your brew. I get the same nausea with DMT fumarate encapsuled. Perhaps try to chew ginger, or possibly better: Use essential lemon oil. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=24003In ayahuasca in my blood are also several mentions of lemon against nausea.

It's a brew of several grams of rootbark and raw seeds, why would one NOT experience nausea? IMO the nausea is a part of the experience when using traditional ayahuasca, another reason for why I would NEVER sip the brew but I'd rather use a shot glass, lol, the taste alone is usually enough to make most people vomit, therefore I don't recommend sipping, it's just to damn disgusting. Mad, bad and dangerous to know.

I think the nausea is also so strong because of having ingested the caapi brew beforehand-- the caapi is rattling around in your digestive tract causing trouble already, and when the mimosa hits the taste buds it can be all over. Though to be fair I have it the other way 'round, I can drink mimosa fine but the caapi is extremely hard to get down. ¤ø¸โø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸โø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸โø¤º¨

I just consumed black caapi vine last night without an admixture, and I found that my stomach was in distress, and much more so than from yellow caapi vine. I experienced persistent but mild nausea and was treated to a symphony of rumblings from deep within my gut, but never really thought I would vomit. I do imagine that had I consumed more than 100 grams of brewed vine that I might have gotten sick, but certainly the mimosa synergizes the nausea of the caapi vine. I have yet to drink mimosa by itself. Also, drinking the ayahuasca vine by itself is a profound experience which I was not entirely prepared for. Mimosa absolutely takes it up a notch, but ayahuasca itself is a potent beverage. "Culture is NOT your friend" - TMK
