a very delayed post here but seeing as how I think it would be fun to start getting a little more involved with the community I think it would be cool to share my first dmt exp.

For this exp I fasted an entire day and a half before. when the big day came 11.11.11. i smoked at 11:11 p.m. It was very interesting, lots of different patterns in my mind, some sounds. Nowhere near as intense as i was expecting....

what was amazing though was that 2 days later, while meditating to reduce some unusual anxiety i was having, I slipped in to the most beautiful dream. I found my self at the back of a church. at the front was a woman who i thought i should casually pay my respects to, i could tell she was holy.

I approached her and noticed she was glowing. At that point she turned to me and i saw she had a necklace that said "peace love and joy for the world". She was in blue and her face was indiscernible in the light. her acknowledgement of my presence was liking be wrapped up by complete attention. I felt energy of love serge around my body. I started to be levitated off the ground. My arms were at my sides, spinning like a helicopter. I knew at this point i was dreaming but i still didn't wake up. All i remember thinking is, man! this is actually happening. ITS real its real! i have to tell somebody.

I then woke up. i am amazed still at the exp. i believe i met the mother of god that day. This was in perfect alignment with what i had originally intended my first dmt trip to be, a serious meeting with a guide who has been helping me with my journey. By intending i mean intense repeated visualization/prayer btw. Thankfully, the great mother answered and she didn't on her time. I think the two exps. were def. related. Some kind of a doorway has opened since using dmt. I now find that when ever i am craving a psychedelic exp, i can meditate until i fall asleep and i will have an amazing lucid dream. this has happened probably 2-3 times since then.

I wonder if anyone else has had an increase in lucid dreams since they started using? anyways that raps up my first post. I'm happy to share with you all.

Oh yeah, DMT(especially with ayahuasca) has had a huge impact on my dreams. They're much more vivid, seemingly longer, I can remember them much more clearly, and I'm lucid a lot more frequently. Also, the coolest part is that a couple of times I've done DMT in my dreams, and it works like a charm. I trip my ass off and journey in an amazing way.SmileI also just recently had a "reliving the moment" experience, like a really deep deja vu where you know you've already experienced this before. I can usually trace these back to dreams that I've had, like that's where I originally went through this. But this time I traced it back to one of the first times I smoked DMT and part of my mind wandered forward in time to this moment. I happened to be listening to this guy talking about his ayahuasca experiences on Joe Rogan's podcast: http://www.youtube.com/w...1&feature=plpp_video , which was a cool coincidence. It convinced me that there's something to the dreaming/DMT connection.

You didn't do it right. Guaranteed.

That's kind of like saying that being catapulted from a 747 at 30,000 feet isn't as intense as you expected. You may not enjoy it, but if your reaction is "meh", you've not actually had the experience, trust me.

My first experience was very much of the “meh” variety, I exited wondering what all the fuss was about to be honest. What this was down to I am not sure, quite possibly technique or environment though.

As Art says there is a lot more to it than what your report suggests you have experienced. The rabbit hole goes very, very deep indeed. Do not judge spice by a single journey, it is only the start.

I don't think dmt has altered my dream life--not noticably at least. Certainly not as detectably as seems to have happened to you, rightnowlovelife. But that's awesome for you that it has.

And Art has a point BTW. Meh is hardly a reaction for anyone to have to their first dmt breakthrough--perhaps you had a good blast-off, but missed the full show?

For entity contact where there is an actual interchange, and communication unfolds at a sensible pace--for the sort of entity contact you seem to have had in that dream--I'd recommend oral maoi + spice, or better yet oral maois + changa. Of course ayahuasca or shroomahuasca will get you that sort of thing...but the type of contact you seem to desire--IME straight spice is too fast for that. The entities are there, but not the same way.

I appreciate your perspective.

wait... so you attribute this dream-like state to "natural" dmt? do you have any substantiated reasoning
behind that, or is that just your belief?

and what exactly is "natural" dmt? do you mean endogenous dmt?
plasma concentrations of endogenous dmt are lower than meh, just to let you know.

No proof, just naturally occuring as in when you sleep i guess. i don't know a whole lot about the amount it occurs in only that it does get release when you are asleep which is why I concluded that it was responsible for my dream.

As for the 'Meh' reaction to my exp, I think that I am due to have another exp. No blast off happened. I'll def be trying it again in the future and hopefully of a better quality. I have total faith though in what you all talk about in these forums. its a wonderfully mysterious world that i am excited to explore.

As far as I understand there is no proof of extra release of DMT when you sleep. Where are you getting your information from that leads you to this conclusion?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the theory of dmt being naturally produced in the brain during dreaming, ndes, etc was created by Dr. Strassman. But it is just a theory and there is, as far as I'm aware, no proof of this (though some of the basic chemicals needed for making "natural" dmt are produced in the brain).

I'd also agree with jamie... it probably means you need better or more dmt.

P.S. all dmt is natural.

Safe travels!
“Recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high mass stars that exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. So that we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that. It’s not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us.”

True, true, true.

Usually the experience is something more along the lines of:

• Remove pipe from lips
• Oh [insert expletive of your choice here] what have I just done?

Lol. That was my first thought. When it wore off I laughed for a long time.
Day after day, alone on a hill. The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still. But nobody wants to know him, they can see that he's just a fool,
And he never gives an answer . . .
But the fool on the hill, Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning 'round

Everything I write is part of the dream inside the dream
