Okay, so SWIM made the rue tea no problem. His plan was to brew a mimosa tea with 10g (only plan on drinking half for starters) but have run into a question. He just finished the first mimosa boil (used powder) and while straining he's noticing very very little sludge left over...I'm talking like less than half a teaspoon. Does he continue with the next two boils with so little powder sludge? Use less water? This is his first time, so he appreciates the help....

You should aim to keep the water so that it's just covering all the plant material. This will obviously necessitate that you will need to regularly replace the water cause it can evaporate quickly.

okay....will do that for the next two extractions. My first there was more water than that....will that screw things up? Appreciate the help!

Shouldn't screw things up too much. First time I made ayahuasca I did it with "too much" water but it still came out pretty potent.

You're definitely going to want to fridge decant that. Are you using a tannin-binding tek?
