Hey guys , feels good to be posting out of the nursery finally! Smile

I got a few questions , realting to different cactus things:

1:is it logical to think that a cereus , dried and ground , is similar enough in composition to active Trich's to make a good addition to the top layer of soil , for nutrients?

2: in this new hydroponic cactus tek (Hydro) , which is interesting me greatly, people have been saying that when you rake offshoots ,and plant them ,and one day got offshoots from those and plant them , and so on and so forth for a few generations , that they stop puting out mesc , that the genetics deteriorate, but i cant see at what point in the process it would lose/damage genetic material? urban legend? im illogical? explanation please !

3: can cacti only produce mesc as they grow ,and produce the flesh that contains it, or could one take a cactus that had grown extremely quickly (eg hydroponically or on mega nutrients) plant it in the earth, and let it reconstitute its mescalito amounts?

4: any ideas on eating plain, fresh cactus flesh rather then dried , made into tea. or extracted? im planning to do it and wanted to know if i would come up slower, trip less/more , feel sick more , whatever . . ,

5: any ideas on this cactus? ill post pics tomorrow actually.

Thanx guys ,its a lot, but i hope i can help equally at some point
Smile
