I want to send a huge and ecstatic hello to everyone here at the Nexus, as I am so very happy to have found what seems to be such a nice community of individuals. I was thoroughly impressed by the attitude section of the site, and am thankful to be in the company of those with genuine respect and decorum. My name is Cody, but my friends like to call me Mountain Man or Kodiak, which I suppose is fitting since A: I absolutely love the mountains and want to call them home someday, and B: my favorite animal is the Kodiak bear. I currently reside in Oklahoma City. I enjoy practically any outdoor activities, especially snow skiing and playing rugby. A hobby I am thoroughly and irreversibly addicted to is writing copious amounts of poetry and music. I am a freelance music producer and compose my own brand of electronic music, which oftentimes sounds like a ridiculous fusion of psychedelic, industrial, classical, house, R&B, and trip-hop styles. My violin is one of my best friends, and we have been for seven crazy years. I am head over heels in love with a beautiful woman named Nicole who inspires me in everything I am and do, and we are soon to be engaged (She jokes with me for my tendencies to put many hours in my music, saying that she and my violin might have a problem ). I am very thankful to be blessed with these gifts, and to be honest, I do not see myself as deserving any of them. I desperately desire to help our sick world get better in whichever ways I can. I am deeply interested in all things spiritual and I try to live with humility to my fullest potential in everything I set my mind to, and to also act with love in all that I do. It is with this humbleness and respect that I ask permission to become a member of the Nexus. I hope to become a valuable team player and share my perspective with those that would listen. After much soul-searching and contemplation, I am ready to take the next step. I would love to get involved with you all and share in this dream, the collective journey that DMT graciously allows us to embark upon. And last but certainly not least, make some good true friends along the way. It is a deep pleasure to be here. Thanks for this awesome chance to be a part of something I used to only dream of! Im very happy to have you onboard man! If you connected to our attitude so well, then all I can say is: Welcome You seem like you'll blend in no time, and I'll be glad to read more from you. Its very cool you are into nature and mountains, and art, poetry, making music, playing instruments. Awesome you like tool too So are you experienced with extractions already? If so, what route do you usually take, and if not, any plans for it? And trying to be humble and manifest love in daily actions are great characteristics. Nice that you are in love too, being in love is so blissful!

Welcome Kodiak, hopefully you can link us up to some of your music, the variety you have mentioned sounds interesting to say the least. I'm glad to say that as of Saturday, I can relate to the feeling of love thanks to my friend and the psychedelics. This site does indeed seem like the place to be for our certain variety of peoples and I can't wait to read more from you. Your depth is your integrity

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and kind words, kind sirs! Attitude really is everything, and as cliche as the saying is, one can't help but appreciate its truth. I like to write, and when I do I write quite a lot. Just warning you. :] Man, I was hooked on my first trip to Loveland, Colorado. Mountains are my happy place, I feel a much stronger spiritual buzz with the wind whipping through my hair and a pair of skis under my feet, maybe even a snowboard (though they aren't as speedy). I'll spend hours writing a stanza of a poem... And as for music, don't even get me started. It's pretty much my life. :] I'm really getting into Tool a lot more; I find Mr. Keenan has been recently inspiring me a lot both lyrically and musically. But I could gab on all day about this, so I digress. As for extractions I have not attempted one yet, and to be honest with you I have not consumed more than a 5mg threshold dose (smoked) of the good old spice. But that was surely enough to push me onward, and I'm just saving up enough money right now to order all my supplies so that I can properly coax my buddy Dimitri from his home in the mimosa hostilis roots. When I extract I will be using pre-ground 100g MHRB powder. I'm going to be using the tek that Noman wrote up on Erowid, please share your opinions on it, I would like to hear about the methods you use. Oh and I'll try to start posting my songs up on YouTube or something, I'm not quite done making my first album but it's coming together :] "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can." ~Danny Kaye

I think you will fight right in here with that attitude man. Welcome to the nexus.
