hello all,

i have been aware of this forum for ages but only recently found a deeper interest...and i am greatly looking forward to learning/sharing/trading knowledge and experiences with all of you! this site is an incredible resource.

my background includes various unique and always transformational psychedelic experiences, including DMT, but also energetic healing (been practicing/teaching Reiki for...14 years now, yikes) and a keen interest in neuroscience and neuropsychology, and how it all intersects with spiritual and mystical practice.

what else...art, music of all kinds, dancing, hiking, photography, and a newfound love for psytrance festivals...and i am determined to learn how to dance with a hoop, we'll see how that goes!

there are a lot of things in life that i "like" or "love" but i think maybe more important than any of the "things" is that i strive to approach everything with a sense of wonder...and a sense of humor <--- steep learning curve, this. definitely NOT perfect, but grateful for the practice!

You sound like like a vibrant energetic spirit and with a sense of humor to boot! I've been interested in reiki for a while now and would like to try to get more tuned in with it. Looking forward to hearing more from you and I hope some of these old timers come around to give you a proper greeting .

re: DMT: so far, vaporized - sort of a suckerpunch to the soul!! intense, amazing experience. i thought to write down the whole thing as best i could, so maybe i'll share that here someday.

most definitely looking forward to aya brew someday, though. the stories i have read regarding ayahuasca have an almost magnetic quality for me; while i have always considered myself a psychonaut of sorts, i don't think i've felt such a strong interest in a particular type of experience as i have in ayahuasca. first time i heard that term was probably 13 years ago, and i had only a marginal knowledge of it at the time -- now that i know just a little bit more, i am fascinated and humbled and very curious!
