Greetings All,

I've just joined the site and this is my 1st post. I would like to say what a truly helpful, intresting, insightful webiste, with likewise members has been created here.

I am here because two nights ago I smoked DMT for the third time and had what i'm 99.99% sure is a full breakthrough (my first). I didn't get anything like that from the first two attempts. It is the most bizarre, terrifying yet wonderous thing i have ever experienced. And if I don't talk about it with others who have experienced this and get it out somehow I will drive myself nuts thinking about it. Sorry if that sounds a bit selfish, but i am genuinly intrested in others experiences too, and will be able to provide input now aswell. I will post full details of this breakthrough in another post very soon.

Anyway, a bit about me, as it seems the done thing here....and rightly so.

I've known about and been intrested in psychedelics since I was 12, when i started smoking weed and before i knew about other, more common drugs. My friends and I would speculate about what it would be like to trip, and hearing stories from various, older dope dealers who had taken acid or mushrooms excited me greatly. I was 15 when i took acid for the first time. I enjoyed it but didn't really give it much thought after...at that age there is just so much going on, something new every 5 minutes! I just moved on looking for some other exciting experience.

I wanted to experience as much as i could cram in at that age (sports, music, gilrs (i am male) drugs). And i was in no way religious, not that it matters. I had a lot of freedom from my parents when i was young (not that they weren't the most loving people ever) and they never pressured me into anything i.e after school clubs, sports, scouts etc. But i did have a close group of friends and I experienced a lot at a young age. I was kind of left to find what entertained me for myself and naively dabbled in petty crime i.e shoplifting, vandalism. However, i was a smart kid and soon realised that wasn't a path I wanted to follow.

I had a few more experiences with LSD, two actually, and one with psilocybin mushrooms. But again just messing around with friends. Didn't really give it too much thought or energy or expand upon what i had experienced.

I went to college (not like American college, more like somewhere for kids to go when they finish school, don't have a job, and have nothing to do but smoke weed) but with no real ambition for any career. I enjoyed socialising more than textbooks and coursework! When i finished college at 17 i started a job in London which i have been at ever since (10 yrs).

I was your typical city kid.....No real feelings about nature. I would litter, spit on the floor, be rude and not have much respect for others. (I know not all people from cities act like that, but a lot where i'm from!) I was not very aware of much going on around me too, narrow minded i suppose. My how i've changed! Thank God!

Things changed when I got my first car and would drive out of town to a nice quiet spot, smoke a j and watch the sunset. I statred to fall in love with the Sun, stars, trees, animals
and nature in general. I developed a deep appreciation and respect for our planet.

About 3 years ago, with my girlfriend at the time, we went to her friends house who was a reiki healer and she was talking about the chakras and the pineal gland. This greatly intrested me, so the next day i looked into it on the internet and was amazed at what i found and how it rang true to me. I think that day at her house was my spiritul awakening, I listened and concentrated on what she was saying like I never had before and something fired up inside me!

I read a lot these days. I practise kundalini yoga, meditate, eat healthly (I think) and don't care much for material possessions or money less and less each day. I have a lot more respect for people, nature, inanimate objects (except clothes hangers....I f**king hate them) and myself too. I've been to some psytrance raves in the forest and warehouses and I've fallen in love with Psytrance and ambient chill out / dub music. I've re-entered the world of psychedelics with a better attitude. I've also started trying my hand at carving wood recently. I've also been trying to grow my own mushrooms too. I love being out in forests and around nature (basically away from the smog!) I'm planning on travelling the world (I mean Earth) next October too.

So thats a bit about me, sorry i've gone on a bit and if you're still reading I look forward posting some more, communicating with any of you and recieving any comments....and making some of my own too.

Thanks for reading,
Peace x
