Greetings Nexus members.

I'm introverted by nature, and speaking about myself is something that I find difficult
but I shall do my best in this 'hello I'm new' thread.

I'm in my early 30's, I live in the most northern outskirts of Europe, and as a teenager I had a passion for
exploring nature with the help of lsd. It's been many years since my last trip, about 10 I would say, and I havent really thought much about it during those years. Sure, there are always the occational "hehe I remember when I..." moment, but exploring the mind was something I decided to put on the shelf. I think it may have had something to do with the length of the lsd trips. Tripping for 15+ hours kind of tired me out, and I felt that it had a negative impact on my mind....then again lsd was not the only substance I used so that might also have had something to do with the feeling of brain fatigue.

So there I was, living the 9-5 life in the giant society machine, slowly ageing dying a little bit as each year rushed by when I heard about DMT. I was amazed by what I learned when I started researching what DMT was and how it worked. Fascinated is a word too weak to describe the curiousity I'm feeling. The longing of crossing over, to see what has been described by others is almost unberable. The thrill of venturing into unknown lands is something I want to experience once more. But with DMT, I suspect it will be more real than with lsd.

I have yet to try DMT, it seems extremely hard to come by where I live, but I'm starting to do research on how to extract it.

Well that was it, hello I'm new here.

Hi and welcome.

Definitely go for extractions. It's an experience in itself and it builds a relationship with your aims concerning the DMT, imo. It's a bit of an effort to get it started, but the effort itself is great, because you are doing work, spending energy for a very special kind of goal. Also it's fun Smile

And hey, I can totally relate to your 'life in the giant society machine'. Even as a misfit I've been grinding away numbly until I heard a song that really woke me up - with the words 'I can't fake it anymore'.

Maybe it's calling out to you, the other side, the true self, the beckoning of freedom? I wish you great journey, in any case!

Love

Thank you both for your kind words and greetings Very happy

I hope you don't find it inappropriate to ask a question regarding extractions?
How long do you think it will take for someone without any chemistry experience at all, to learn how to make a successful extraction? (providing said person is a person of average intelligence of course)

Kind regards and best wishes.

Everything you need to know is right here in the Wiki, and most of us arrived here knowing nothing more than you do right now, so congratulations and a warm welcome; you've found your way to the perfect spot for exactly what you've been seeking.

You stand on the precipice of a life changing mystery. It gets no realer.

I hope my questions dont annoy you too much. I have read the FAQ and I realize just how much work I got a head in front of me. I assume one would need a certain amount of space for equipment and such? I live in a fairly small apartment, the housing in my area is similar to that of New York city. Small and expensive.
I keep imagining that extraction would be best in a basement, a luxury I do not have.

In any case I got a few months of reading to do before I can try to make an extraction.

Kind regards

With the BLAB and any STB, you really only need the space of a kitchen sink or bathtub (to defend against spills) and a place to keep the milk jug. A little more space, if you're planning on using d-limonene instead of naptha, for evaporating.

I wish I had experienced DMT by now, but I'm a master of not getting things done.
I buy a book, and I dont seem to find time to read it. I learn about DMT and decide that
I will learn extraction but once again, not getting anything done.

I'm knee deep in a (hopefully temporarily) depressive disorder, and theres something in me that tells me that DMT is the promised land, the Shangri La. That its the pat on the back or slap in the face that I need to move on.

I just finished watching the spirit molecule with Joe Rogan, and even though I got my suitcase ready, I got no ticket. Bummed out Crying or very sad

What are you hung up on? A simple recipe to getting it done is

a) figuring out what you need (chemicals, containers, plant material) depending on the tek you agree upon
2) getting what you need i.e. buying or finding it or whatever
iii) studying the tek extensively and maybe some other teks as well so you know what you are doing
d) starting with a small amount, say 100g and just trying it
5) finally when you have your product, you will need a smoking device or MAOI for oral consumption but you should have either or both if you followed step a)

if you need help quickly, come in the chat, people there can help usually.

cheers & love

Thank you for your support Ennoon.

I get hung up on all sorts of things. A bee enters my room, I focus on it. Time moves on.
An old song is playing in the radio, it takes me back to my childhood. I spend hours there.
Theres all sorts of things that distracts me really. It is sort of hard to explain.

I will enter the chat one day. I long for the day I can call myself a fellow traveller.

cheers & love
