More crystals please!
Yes these are Hcl's. Though they have never been freebased so far. I took 100g seeds, boiled 3x with a splash of vinegar then coarsely filtered before leaving the liquid in the fridge for 3 days then filtered again. It was then reduced down from 2L to 1L, filtered and salted. When I salt I use a very hard boil and keep stirring for at least 3-4 minutes, all the time feeling around for gritty texture in the bottom of the pan until the blind grit test sustains for a good length of time. I then pour that through a tea strainer into the container pictured and the precipitates appear. I let the water cool down at it's own pace at room temperature. I always redesolve the harmaloids in neutral non-acidified water.
In the pic above that is the third repetition of the salting, no fancy tricks, just lots of patience.

I may do 1 or 2 more saltings for more pictures. The previous salting precipitated the average dust I'm used to, so the difference between this and the last is pretty damn good. I'm very tempted to see what one more will do, mainly for aesthetics. Get some nice clear liquid and some sunshine to really bring out the sparkle in those babies
I think next time I do a harmala extract I'm going to manske once, then just wash those precipitates in salt saturated water and then manske again and see what difference it made.
