Wow, that was really good! Thanks for sharing, I can totally realate to it.
Something I heard somewhere, is that todays youth, the Gen Y, Digital Natives, Millenials, whatever they are beign called, have always had technology around them. All their cartoons involved spirits, extra-dimensions/dimensional beings with which the characters interact. Many of the games revolve around controlling Avatars which there consciousness becomes a part of.
So much so, that when they become adults and are the ones running things, the concepts of aliens, extra-dimensional beings will be natural for them, and therefore it is more likely that these things will become part of our reality.
So much is going to change...if for no other reason than the future generation has a completely different modality of experience and perception than that of the old guard.
What, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this...
Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged into numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
Find
Itself
Innumerably.

Saidin is a fictional character, and only exists in the collective unconscious. Therefore, we both do and do not exist. Everything is made up as we go along, and none of it is real.
