Big breakthrough! 2 nice DMT hits and I was a insectoid type alien with a spacesuit on. There was so much going on that I didn't even remember I was in my own house. Very intense open eyed hallucinatiins.Everythimg wss a different hallucination.

Powerful experience! Big grin

Has it helped with the sleep?

Stick with it and try to build a respectful and loving relationship with the spice. Always be conscious of your thoughts and motivations going into each trip. Never use it as a remedy for anxiety or depression, as it can magnify these painful thoughts into terrifying experiences. You will have unpleasant rides occasionally, just remember to learn and grow through the dark times.

I hope this new chapter in your hyperspace adventure can help you come to grips with your trauma. Thumbs up

I'm not a big fan of SWIM. I mean, I've never met the guy, but any time I hear about him, he's doing something sketchy.

Actually this is really weird. If I have anxiety or depression. The spice gets rid of it. Gone! Unfotunately it only helps a few days. While I'm under the influence, I see visions but my mind is completely clear and aware I'm in the grip of the spice. I've tried many hallucinogens but this one leaves me so clear in my mind while I'm under the influence. So strange.

That's great to hear. Learn to walk in the spirit realm and you will find you can influence the world around you with your mind Big grin

I'm having breakthroughs regularly now. I found that my smoking method was the defect. Using a gas torch just melts the DMT too fast. A lighter works fine. The seroquel matters not a bit. Still taking 200 mg seroquel just helps me sleep. The experience of the DMT breakthrough is so powerful that it is hard to take in all it is trying to teach me at once. It reconnects me to my ancestors.

Peace, Rocket

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Followed your advice and grew some shrooms. P. Cubensis Ecuador. Sometime in the next two days, my weekend, I'm going to eat a few grams. Hopefully it will put a sword in the PTSD dragon.

Peace, Rocket

I missed this thread until now. Rocket, it's great to see you on the road to healing, and this entire thread is composed of solid advice pretty much. That's great you're getting your technique down and learning your way into and around hyperspace.

I'm very interested in what you're doing because I've done/am doing something quite similar. I came to this place through several 5meo DMT experiences and i currently work with freebase spice. I have found incredible benefits from this for my depression and anxiety- as you say they tend to vanish and stay gone for a good period of time after a trip; and I've found that it's helped me understand myself and my place in this universe- a certain spiritual foundation not based on faith but experience.

It's the latter that has allowed me to push through some extremely hard times since i began this walk. Even so, I'd never go back to where i was. As hard as it's been, i really don't even like to think about what the limited possibilities are of where my life would be at this moment had i not received that first little vial. Not pretty, i assure you.

I wish you the happiest of trails my friend. DMT has showed me many great and wonderful things, it has tested me beyond my greatest conception, torn me asunder and made me whole again with loving hands. It has shown me that i am a manifestation of the universal creative force, which is moving through time trying to understand itself, and that while it's all so damn important to me, nothing really matters. It has shown me something outside of my self. It has allowed me to be able to look into my wounds, once they had been torn open by reality, and to see that all that ugliness isn't even mine. It has given me the ability to love me, and continues to push that agenda through all my self doubt and delusion driven insecurity.

I'm not sure, for the DIYer that you sound to be , it's proven a pretty swell tool in my toolbox. It has even become more versatile as I've come to know it and learn various dosing routines and roa's. While i agree with many of the others that for your (and my) particular flavor of madness, it may not be the first one that comes to mind to uncover deep rooted issues that cause debilitating symptoms, but the use of this fantastic molecule will challenge you to stay the same f###ed up loser you were at the beginning.

That's great on the psilocybin too, that's my next stop. I'm working towards some facilitated sessions with a professional once my life is a little more manageable and i don't have so many snakes squirming around on my plate (how's that for mixing metaphors?). If you're producing them, perhaps you would be interested in a micro dosing regimen. I knows several people who take .2 gm dried mushroom dust in caps/each day and report great success. I tried a different routine of closer to .5-.75 gm once a week to biweekly to great effect.

Please, keep us updated on your progress, successes, stumbles and all. Be good to you, man. Or as i heard someone say recently, F@%K PAIN, LOVE!

I don't know you and I don't want to assume you might be "chasing the dragon" so to speak. I know several friends who have had trouble breaking through and they learned that it was because their mind wasn't settled. They were anxious and desirous. Chasing for what they want to see. You can't look for things in the DMT world, you have to let go of whatever ideas you have about what you want to see which is what I call chasing the dragon. Letting go can be the hardest part because it's hard to describe what you are to be letting go of. For instance when you fall asleep and dream, you aren't going you be chasing a particular dream or experience within the dream. You would just let go, fall asleep and dream. You have to treat DMT like that. You have to just smoalk it, let go of any thoughts, be still and just absorb. Have you ever practiced any zen meditation? It's a meditative practice where you have one focal point and the idea is to be sitting in a lotus position where you virtually don't have to use any muscles to stay sitting upright and this allows your mind to not be distracted with motor functions. You then practice thoughtlessness. Channel your mind to listen rather than speak. Listen to the sounds in the room, your own breathing or your heartbeat and try not to let any thoughts cloud your mind. Let go. After you have practiced this enough times and have gotten the hang of it. Sit down and do it again this time with DMT. You might find it easiest to let go and experience the full DMT experience. I have PTSD too but not from being a veteran. My nightmares are way different so I cannot relate to yours. My PTSD comes from childhood trauma and I do not believe DMT is what helped my PTSD. marijuana helped mine. I smoke it almost every night. With it, I have seen an extraordinary difference. I'm less shaky and reactive to situations and it also has some closed eye visuals to it now that I have done other psychedelics and I can drift off in thought with it and deal with whatever is bothering me that day much more easily. It helps me focus on listening to my body and letting go of things that would normally cause anxiety. After a lot of years of patience, practicing zen meditation, smoking marijuana and time, my nerves show a significant difference. Don't expect to "cure" PTSD. Expect to slowly chip away at it. Again, though my PTSD may not be as bad as yours so I can only tell you what worked for me. I have no idea what will work for you and I like what other people in this post are suggesting. Good luck!
